Kinda shallow & has many flaws, but not really bad…

I liked the art and the
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
returning together with a friend
was an interesting twist on the regression trope, but…
The ending was rushed and shallow

The villains, for all the drama they managed to cause in the previous life, turned out to be childishly pitiful

The fact that
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
the empress, formerly mother-in-law of the princess killed/caused the death of both their families and essentially annihilated their country
was overlooked way too easily

The romantic development was abrupt and was just added at the end as sort of an afterthought

And worst of all, that second male lead, was not only extremely annoying, but also despite his extreme persistence in the beginning, randomly and very unnaturally disappeared somewhere near the end to open the path for the main lead… honestly I disliked how his “kindness” was forcefully emphasized and how he naturally exhibited such inconsiderate possessive behavior in the name of “love”, so it’s not like I missed him or anything, but still, him just fading out was so unnatural!

Anyway… lots of issues with this one, but overall it was a fairly enjoyable read if you don’t take it too seriously & don’t start reading with very high expectations~

The ending rushed like hell please. I really liked it before but now I'm deeply disappointed. I feel like my ink on tapas had gone to waste.
So many question remain unanswered. We even don't have chance to take a glimpse of the previous timelines. We don't even know who murdered Khalid in the previous timelines.
Why could an interesting and promising story turn to that?
Khalid and Vedis in the epilogue was cute tho. I'll give the authors that.

Lacking Consistency & Thoughtfulness

The MC is quite dense for someone who was supposedly forced to grow up and quickly learn the ways of the world over a period of six intensely political and combative years. Unfortunately, the author frequently forces her into a bumbling shoujo stereotype, and it's a huge inconsistency and turnoff.

Given the story's setting, there's also a significant lack of royal decorum and social stratification. For example, in one moment, minor characters will be intimidated by the princess because she's a royal, and immediately, in the next, others will openly degrade her without repercussion.

I was really excited for the strong FL and og!FL! Especially as two female characters rebirthed! But instead of going about finding a better ending, as what the original premise was, things seemed to have devolved into FL following ML like a puppy as ML angsts.

Good but...

I do like this one, it doesn't drag its feet about rewinding time and the FL isn't OP for knowing the future since they are unsure of all the events behind the scenes that lead to their future.

I've not read to far into the story but so far I find it interesting, I do find both the princess and FL a bit immature given their circumstances. Its ok to have doubts and stress, its just that besides their regrets, they don't really act like people living their second life. Maybe they could use a bit more conviction that spurs their desperation. They just don't feel as old and battle worn as the story keeps insisting they are.

Really good! Update: Still okay

The art is pretty, there's a solid plot going on, there are funny moments I laugh at, and the main characters are all likeable, competent, and confident people!

Nitpicks that I have include pacing, where the plot almost seems to be advancing a bit too fast and could be fleshed out more, and a couple things are glossed over and will probably require some suspension of belief. At this time I'm on ch. 21 and there are a couple minor concerns I have about how they're going to do this and that in a believable enough way, but since everything overall has been explained and written pretty well, I'm hoping the author has something good planned.

Honestly other than the nitpicks nothing bad to say about this one, it's a solidly good story so far.

Update:
After a couple months, caught up to the latest chapter (39) and IDK, not only is the art a bit too exaggerated with the characters' expressions, the romance also seems really shallow. Not really any reason for the male lead to be falling in love either but there he is acting like a jealous moody kid it seems. Dropping my rating from 9 to 7 because I'm still interested in where the plot goes, but the execution of the story and art has turned pretty meh.
