the main focus just on romance this, romance that. I understand this is a romance manga, but my god, i wished there were some activities that we could watch the characters participate in so we can see them get fleshed out. So far femc is just the shy girl who has a cool stereotypical boyfriend who is like a wolf but is willing to protect her and shit. And we have the childhood friend who only decides to start to take action after he learns she is dating this guy.
Chapter 36 was a chapter that caught me off guard but in a good way, i really thought they were actually take their relationship to the next level, like turning this shoujo into a josei. But the author decides last minute to step back.

Art is good, but the MC is too naive/childlike and almost infantilized by the male lead which is just weird. I get that she's deaf but that doesn't mean their interactions should feel like a caretaker and their lovesick patient rather than love interests.
When there's a monologue about how he feels, all I can think about is how creepy it comes across.
Oh yeah, and add a childhood friend love triangle and weird pacing. If you like typical shoujo you'll love this one.
It gets better after about chapter 11 and I see the appeal, but it's definitely not for me.

I did not expect to like this so much, but I did! Súper cute.
So I wasn’t a big fan of Hibi Chocho I thought it dragged to long and it was boring by the 10 th chapter. This one is way more engaging and I love the characters a lot more. The FMC and MMC have unique personalities even though some of the plot points are pretty standard shoujo tropes. I enjoy how this is a college-age romance and that the characters are often realistic and mature about their feelings and aren’t wishy washy with each other. Can’t imagine how refreshing it is to have both main characters admit their feelings for each other despite the fact that one of them is deaf and can’t speak. It’s crazy funny how a manga about a disabled main character is much more better at communication than 90% of shoujo.

It's so good. Like everything about this manga is extremely sweet, fluffy and good. Author did a great job on this one. It also depicts the love life of deaf people which is extremely sweet.

Gives me all the warm fuzzies that you want from a shoujo manga. Enter handsome traveling male lead + our cute and optimistic deaf protagonist. You know it’s gonna be good when you can feel the chemistry right on the first chapter.
Though I am more of a slow-burn romance type of girl, their immediate interest in each as people was incredibly refreshing. So far I love them both and am really rooting for their love story ❤️ I look forward to reading more chapters once they become available!

So far, it’s very sweet and innocent and somewhat serendipitous (he has dreams but they meet by chance and develop an endearing relationship). The romance is nicely paced so far and it’s not like your typical shoujo. If this were published in English - thank you Kodansha for making this happen, I’d definitely get it! I’d definitely recommend it!! This is also the type of manga you read and you think: “I’d love you see this as an anime, it’d be really cool to see the characters move around and in colour!” That’s how good it is. To me at least.
