The author should have killed Setsuna off because it was clearly established in the beginning that he was supposed to die by getting his heart claimed by one of the demon princesses Kanna or Rena

If you like shounen manga, there is really only two reason why you would not like this serious.
1.) You hate weak male lead
2.) You don't like the ending
To one, I'd say that you are sad SOBs that can't see past your little narrow mind. You don't like weak male lead? Take a good look at yourself. Hate yourself already?
To two, I'd say the ending isn't even that bad. The manga was axed. Most manga that got axed endings sucks more than this.
Seriously, at least have a valid reason why you don't like a manga. This is just sad.

It's a bad series, but you'd still like it if you "like it strange"

Short review
So bad it's good
Longer review:
Actually the only thing that manages to save this series is the comedy involving Rena (the oni with the black hair) and the "evil" team.
I mean, while reading this series I could see the author crushing his head trying hard to accomplish something, throwing in violence, wannabe mature scenes, bullying, love comedy, romance drama, action, ecchi between girls... just to fail every single time.
But, still, I like this series. Of course, the writing is terrible, there are a few plot holes , most of the characters are badly planned (the main character's classmate), but the gags are good and Rena is quite likeble.
Give it a look.

damn i really liked this manga although for a long time i hated the male lead cause he was pathetic but i really had hopes for this but like some other LIM Dal-Young works this suddenly got rushed and ended. this is definitely this authors main problem, he juggles so many series's at once (and there all pretty good) but then he doesnt have the time for all so many go on hiatus for long periods of time then eventually he ends them. each series that he made had the potential to go really far but only a few like Freezing and The Legend of Maian are living up to that potential (so far) and its just sad cause i really like his works and his "younger guy going after older girls" scenarios cause hey older chicks need love too lol

What in the name of God just happened to this manwha? There is so much potential in the plot to easily cross 100chapters. Suddenly some strange turn of events backed by some weak reasoning ended this awesome manhwa in any awful way. If by any chance Aflame Inferno every resumes, I hope it does not meet such a tragic ending.
Rated 5/10 for the terrible ending. Otherwise the first twenty chapters get an 8.5/10

That ending just ruined this manhwa for me, and I took off 4 points just because of that ending. I was tempted to give it a five rating instead, but I really liked this manhwa, and couldn't bear to do so. To rush the ending after having the story on hiatus for more than 2 months is ridiculous. To add insult to injury, he ended it after introducing a new main character (zombie oni princess) a few chapters earlier, that's just horrid.
The ending aside, this manhwa was actually quite enjoyable for me. Its a romance story, with a slight dark element to it (which is something seldom seen in romance titles). The characters' personalities were very interesting, although they weren't anything new, they were still fun to watch. The main character is especially likable, despite the fact that he appears weak, he actually has a strong "heart," cause he is able to face his imminent death with a smile. This story had potential, and it's sad to see it wasted.
I honestly hate LIM Dal-Young' way of doing things. He has SERIOUS commitment issues when it comes to his works, and I think the unfortunate end of this particular manhwa is a direct result of that. This guy is currently the author of 8 to 10 ongoing manwhas (that's just stupid)! Since his attention is divided so badly, his works usually are on constant 2 to 4 months long hiatus between chapters, or have REALLY LONG release cycles. Not only is it hard to keep people interested with such long release times, but his works usually become sub-par or by-the-books average products with an added dark element. They start out with great potential or premise, but turn out to be nothing special or original whatsoever (some can even be said to be below average). Prime examples of this are Zero and Aflame Inferno. The MC in zero degrades into a get-stronger shounen arch-type in one of the worst ways possible. Then there's Aflame Inferno which has virtually no character development for 50 chapters (also has been on hiatus for 120+ days). Then there is this manhwa, that had interesting personalities for characters, but needed a lot more character development. Then there's the ending that took something that HAD potential, and turned it into your typical harem/romance manga. The sudden addition of two more potential lovers for the MC was ridiculous. One of which, made no indication that she had feelings for him to begin with, while the speed at which the other fell in love, was just idiotic.
The amount of half-a*sery this guy puts into his works is astounding. The only two works from him that don't make me regret reading them at some point, are Unbalance X Unbalance and The Legend of Maian (and they come pretty close at times). U x U is his best work by far, and TLoM starts slow but gets much better later in the story. These are only manhwa I will ever buy with this guy's name on it.

Yet another rushed ending but still worth reading and I'm happy the author didn't take the "dark path" like he did with UxU, it was a sweet ending even though it was crap but what to expect from him? I mean he does write some good stories but a lot of 'em at the same time which leads to hiatus and rushed endings. I got really surprised it suddenly ended, I was looking forward to more funny situations after the appearance of the zombie princess. There is a good point about ending how he did though... it just asks for a "season 2" and I really hope we get one, loved the zombie princess' character! xD I want MOAR

Was a great series, really had the potential to go on for a lot longer, expand the harem. Then all of a sudden, its done. Everything is wrapped up in 2 chapters. Sigh, a lot of wasted potential if you ask me. The reason it's not a 10 is for the ending alone.
a lot better than people say

The romance is surprisingly sweet for such a dark plot, and the characters are rather varied. Also idk why everyone says the dude is a wimp. Of course he can't do anything during a battle where people shatter concrete. You couldn't either, and you would probably defecate yourself if you saw it. I can understand calling him a bleeding heart or something, but he isn't a wimp. Not many people could completely accept the facts of theirw impending horrible death, and face it head on. Overall I was quite pleased by what I saw in this series, and the giant grey area instead of good and evil is nice.
