this manga and the male lead are probably the biggest pieces of shit i've ever experienced in storytelling, which by the way is just widly unrealistic in every possible aspect.

Mixed Feelings. Could've been better.

I read this back in middle school and....now that I'm in college and rereading this....I cant believe I thought it was good.

One thing people will notice is the age difference between the two as that will obviously break or make this story for people who watch it.

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Its in chpt 11 where its states that there is 6 year age gap between the two.

Tsukasa was in his last year of elementary school in the beginning thus, he is 11-12. Haruka would be 17-18 respectively.
(He is 12 by chpt 10 - in the summer - while Haruka turns 18, in chpt 14, next year spring.)

He leaves sometime in spring at the end. So he is hitting 13 later in that year.

Then there is a 2 1/2 year timeskip from when he leaves. So she is now 20, and about to turn 21, while he is 15 and about to be 16 soon.

So basically, it's a highschooler dating a elementary/middle school student for majority of the manga and then a college student dating a higshchooler at the end.

As for the story and characters...

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
The girl is dumb, naive, and always getting pushed around and the boy is a straight up perv, constantly harassing/groping her(even in her sleep😐), and is always disrespecting her boundaries.

There is not even a clear reason why she likes him and he likes her from the beginning. And they started dating only a week after he moved in. From the way things went, it looks like she only liked him because he groped her and he's cute. And it looks like he like her because...he's just a horny boy and she is...nice? Honestly, I'm not sure, he didn't even know her before he even moved in.

The art style is what some would consider old now but it's not bad. Their relationship is...well it doesn't really make any progress or real development until the very end where the kid makes the good decision to leave and mature while he works so he wont pull the bs he's done throughout majority of the manga. Dont know if that will help but whatever. It would be a more better and cuter manga if the boy wasnt such a perv and she wasn't so naive and had more of a back bone.

Also, looks like the author kept getting questions on if she likes younger guys(no surprise there; I'm surprised that she said she was surprised to get so many questions like that) to which she said: "it doesnt matter whether the guy is older or younger than me. I do prefer guys with slightly childish character. If only Tsukasa grows up and becomes an adult that would be wonderful. That's what I always imagine while I'm drawing."

🤨uhhh well...make of that what you will.

(1) As in a 1/10 Take a shot per page per attempted rape/sexual harassment >,> By the end you'll probably be drunk
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
The first volume in a half is like a collection of one shots which made me confused at first coupled with the horrible art style which makes a lot of the characters look alike. Rapey elementary school kid (male lead) x Second year retarded (female lead) No character development for any characters throughout the series.... IF anything it gets WORSE during the ark where toppy or whatever is name is... started coming onto the female lead.... even though he's suppose to love the female lead's friend (from one of the one shots in the first volume) I'm honestly surprised I read through this piece of garbage thinking it'd get better. Want to read a brother/sister relationship that's better than this piece of shit? (Calling it shit is even a complement.) then read 'Koi Kaze' by YOSHIDA Motoi :3

Hmmm... Not sure how i really feel about this

This is a light hearted, warm and lovely series with our lovey dovey main couple. And this feeling exists is partly due to the stunningly pretty art. Omg, just by looking at the characters makes my heart warm and it's a really nice feeling. Tsukasa, Haruka, even Kyoko are beautifully illustrated.

Ok, I think this manga has some charming things in it.

However

I got really tired reading this manga, especially the opera soap at the end.

The Teipeii's plot or whatever gives me the tiresome vibe. Haiz...

And the Teipeii - Kyouko's story, and the girls that like Tsukasa's story are quite unsatisfied

But overall, I quite enjoy reading this so I'll give it a 8.
But it's actually 6 or 7 or 7.5 or something.

Oh ye, not to mention that the hot scenes are sure HAWT for me, i don't know but they stimulate my imagination emotionally. Well yeah, 🙌 maybe i'm a perv too. Cause they actually are sexual harassment haizz

had potential, but it went horribly wrong

One can tell that the mangaka has experience while reading this manga, but for some reason she made the worst decisions possible while planning this story. The characters have no development and make the same mistakes over AND OVER again, it's utterly frustraiting. It's sad because it could have been really good, but no, it was 8 volumes of pure annoyance. It was physically uncomfortable to finish the manga, volumes 5 through 8 where torture, I just finished it in hope that something would change, which didn't happen. The last chapter showed a little tiny bit of change in the right direction, but then it was over. You might be left with the desire to know what could have been, but at that point I was just glad that it was over.

The plot makes it seem more mature than it is.. Bunch of kissing and the threats are mediocre in comparison to more deeper, care free love story's. Didn't really like the artistry.. Too loosely drawn.. It made even the "handsome / pretty" people not look that at all.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
starts with the brother meeting sister.. Then skipped by having other short stories cut in like RIGHT AWAY... Then they just kiss a whole bunch a times.. Defend how each other like each other the whole damn time.. And ends with him coming back to her when he's older.. Very boring set up.. Don't really see any of this "sex" part they speak of either..

Nope because absolutely no depth or development. Sexual harassment turns into romance; sexual harassment is done like it's good; sexual harassment is everywhere but our silly billy Haruka doesn't really give two fucks.

Yes because over all the story was still okay and the characters not so detestable. Art was fairly nice.

I love reading shoujo manga, but I often forget the cliche ones. This one isn't as cliche, but still has parts that are a bit cheesy. The only thing that makes me uncomfortable is the fact that the boy is in elementary school, which is a bit disturbing. If he was in middle school, fine, but I can't picture an 8 year old boy doing that, but otherwise I loved it. I loved the touch of smut (not really steamy smut, but teasing smut). I love the boy's personality, but the only problem is his age, otherwise, the manga would be a 10/10.

Aah! I really love Tsukasa-kun! I want one of him for myself. He's just the kind of good-bad boy that I really, really fall for. Oota-sensei did a bang-up job making him a dynamic character, one that's ambition and egotistical, but also concerned about his love and—occasionally—others, too. Tsukasa's always thinking only of Haruka, in fact, to a point that it borders nearly on obsession, except that he's too self-centered to actually be stalker material. As for Haruka, well... she's as drippy a female lead as there ever was. But then, these shoujo manga need stories their readers can relate to, ねぇ? Still, I read this all in one sitting, and still didn't get enough. I want more Tsukasa, damn it!
