Description
Bekku Nanaki is mirror clairvoyant. She moved to Tokyo from the countryside to escape calamities she sees. There, she witnesses an accident on the road caused by a mobile fish vendor, who saves her from being crushed by a billboard that falls from above.

The next day, he turns out to be Banjou Kizaki, her classmate and a student held back due to his involvement in incidents and accidents that others attribute to his being unlucky. His eccentric behavior, however, catches her attention, which he explains as changing the future...

AMAZING

This story was amazing, and hilarious! Though there wasn't much romance (I didn't even sense romance, actually) but the action and the art was amazing. The Black Mask was a weird, but -good?- twist in a sense, but the last chapter-are they idiots?! His death was supposed to be under the sakura trees when they were in full bloom-and their celebrating his birthday there?! That part was like -screams internally- GOSH. Worth reading, and even a re-read!

REALLY want to rate this higher but...

It seems like it was kinda rushed and suffered for it. They could have built up the character of the black-coated man (forgot most of his name already and I just read it >.>) a LOT more. And the final arc...who the hell makes a mask out of...THAT!? (don't want to say what it is...). And they could have explained how the seal mask was made...perhaps by a different person's [spoiler] who had similar circumstance as the first mask's but a different resolve?

Also, just saying, the princess of Troy (not queen) WAS believed at first. Later, though, I think she wasn't with the horse fiasco, and we all know what happened next.

But before those flaws came in I was loving this SO much. :/ Great bits of comedy, great story and solving of situations (for the most part, not the tower one, really). that reminds me, they could've expanded on the dilemma he faced with that revelation in tower chapter as well, like what is being done in Reimei no Arcana.

I was not a shounen manga reader till a friend recommended Ann Cassandra to me. I was completely a shoujo fan to the brim. He forced me to read it, stating that it does have some romance going on between the protagonists and that the manga is somewhat touching. When I finally started to read the first chapter, I was hooked. I loved it so much and I did not want it to end so soon. Anyway, it is RECOMMENDED. I am looking forward to future works by the Mangaka. Ganbatte!

Good artwork and a story that is unique makes for a worth while read. Another plus is that the MC was capable and competent from the git-go.

I only wish that it had lasted longer to bring out the plot and character development better.

The art was pretty good and the characters were interesting. The whole clairvoyancy thing was cool and then there were the anti-heroes getting involved. I have little in the way of criticism for the motivations that were given to the characters. About how they went about their work is a bit wierd. I would think that if there was a string of averted disasters that had the same couple of people involved their would be some other people asking questions maybe the police getting involved. In this story the police were only incidental to the story and only getting in the way when the characters were trespassing.

Most of the story was man against disaster but only for the most part man made disasters, though most of them were accidental in nature.

The characters were fun and while it was short it did not overwhelm us with huge amounts of episodes that are so common in the shounen genre. The ending was a little bit rushed though I somewhat enjoyed how the ending is a foreshadowing of the prediction. This way the ending was left a little bit open does he die or not.

Extremely enjoyable...

It’s strange how some manga that I think should be shorter have many volumes and chapters, and some manga that I would like to be longer are quite short. This manga is one of those manga that I wish was longer, but isn’t. Even though it isn’t long the story was an excellent one, and though I wish it had gone on for a bit longer it was still a very nice read that was extremely enjoyable!

Plot- The plot is very interesting, great concept for the story. However the shortness of the manga dragged the plot down a bit, it would have been better if the manga had been a bit longer and some parts of the plot were drawn out a bit longer, as it is the manga isn’t bad and the pacing is quite nice.

Characters- The characters are really endearing, Banjou is quite strange, but in a funny way, and Nanaki is sweet and levels off Bajou’s strangeness nicely. The duo is fun to read about. The other characters play more minor rolls and you don’t really get to know the secondary characters that much making them nothing all that special, but not bad characters either.

Art- The art was nice but sometimes it seemed the artist got a bit lazy with some pictures and those images didn’t seem as good as other images on the page. But the artwork was still quite nice.

Other- I felt that the antagonist’s were just thrown in there, quickly defeated, and then just forgotten. I was a bit annoyed by this but not annoyed enough for it to lower my liking of the manga. Another thing to note, everyone, the end is (in all likelihood) a happy one.
Spoiler (highlight to view)
I’ve concluded that Banjou lives in the end, the Cassandra mask is what was behind all the prophesies, which included the ones Banjou saw in his book, including the one about his own death, so when they sealed the mask it was suspected that the prophesies made by the Cassandra mask would be broken, which includes the prediction of Bajou’s death. Also at the end Nanaki say’s “Tomorrow Banjou’s new life starts” indicating he will live and Chiasa and Nanaki keep on talking during the end about Banjou's plans for the future also indicating he'll live, and, though this is more just my own assumptions, both Nanaki and Chiasa don’t seem sad at all, on the contrary they seem happy which would be strange if that day Banjou was dying… Plus they are having his birthday under a full blooming sakura tree which would be strange for them to have it there if they didn’t believe the predictions to be broken. Just my thoughts, feel free to disagree.
The ending was a bit open unless you put some thought into it. The manga was good; it captured my attention and kept a firm hold of it all throughout the manga, and even at times had me on the edge of my seat as I awaited what would happen next. I really do recommend this manga!

It's okay.
The plot is interesting and the art is good.
Romance is minimal to none but this IS shounen, so I guess I shouldn't have been expecting much.
The male lead is cool and funny but I found the female lead to be kind of annoying sometimes (sometimes!).
It was kind of over-dramatic lol.
Maybe 2 volumes was too short for my tastes?
It did feel kind of rushed; maybe that's why I was feeling kind of confused while reading it, or simply unsettled. dunno.

Why does it have to end like that. Its my first time reading a manga like this. Its actually pretty good but the 8 chapters are soooooo! short.
its not even funny. But its good while it last but still I'm kinda angry on the publishers of this. It could last longer than that but it didn't.
