The only reason I kept reading this series was for the art. The art is extremely cute and the character designs aren't that bad. But as said before, it's the only thing good about this series. The fight scenes aren't even well drawn. It's the same pattern. Urgh. Plus the characters don't grow. They don't learn and grow to be better. No emotional issues. Everything is cliched and a waste of time. New shoujo fans might find this entertaining, but hardcore fans won't, It's been repeated to many times. The cliched storyline/plot/everything and the cute characters/art. I have to say, I do not reccomend this manga.

Cute art, but typical boring, cliché storyline.

A cute story with lots and lots of clichés. The main character is more annoying than typical annoying characters like Usagi from Sailor Moon and Miaka from Fushigi Yuugi. No character development.

This brings back memories. It's a good story for younger readers, I re-read it a while ago and I can understand why I liked it so much as a kid. Older readers probably won't like it, but it's still one of those cutesy stories that shoujo-fans should try out. It's probably just nostalgic for me because it reminds me of the times I first started reading manga. Still, sometimes I can't help but to go back and reread the series. It'll always be with me because it's such a classic.

As for the cliche remarks, I do not agree. It's terribly hard to make an entirely original manga and since this series was only 7 volumes long it was difficult to get "deep." Instead of judging based on "cliches" which is unavoidable in mangas nowadays, I grade on how the manga was executed. If it kept me entertained then that's good enough.
I'm not looking for character growth and deep plots from a MAGICAL GIRL SHOUJO MANGA.

I'm reading the new printings more for the nostaliga factor than actual liking the story. It came in the same wave of magical girl stuff that Sailor Moon kicked off in North America. It's fun, it's silly, and while I enjoy reading it... it's not very good.

i dont really have a problem with the series. But its just a typical shoujo magical girl series that i feel has no depth to it. Very repeatative to me. The art is okay...

The plot was full of cliches, and not to mention the characters did not develop at all. They were flat and unrounded; the ultimate stereotypes are labelled on each character. Even if they were stereotypes, I would have liked to see them change over the course of the plot and really got to know them. Neither was fulfilled throughout the story. The art is okay, though a manga does not depend solely on visual appeal. It is a typical, boring magical girl story, so I personally don't give it a high rating.

When I was in 3rd grade, I thought this was the most awesome thing ever(It's the manga that got me into manga XD) But, I've read it again now much older's really, really stupid. It's so confusing, and after you've read it you are just like, " did I just read?" But, I have to give it credit for getting me started on manga, so I'll give it a 2.

I can't believe this manga is getting so low ratings! I'm actually rereading it whenever I feel like it! ^_^ This manga is so sweet and innocent, and the art is really pretty too!
This manga may be cliché and somewhat naive, but personally I thought it was really charming!
