I'm a little disappointed with this one too. I agree, the story certainly SOUNDED like it had great potential, but it didn't quite reach there. I actually grew a bit more attached to R than Ciel. Ciel's story was longer, but I felt like the story moved too quickly for us to actually really care about him. I also didn't quite catch what he was doing, or why he was of utmost importance(actually was he? Still confused on that bit).

The art wasn't too bad. I actually liked the way Ciel and R are styled. Their hair is cool I wish this story could be a little bit more organized. It would have been way more interesting and would have made more coherent sense(...still waiting for the mindblowing revelation. I might have missed it).

Was anyone else… disappointed? I know I was. I was disappointed by the execution of this magna. What might have been an excellent work failed, becoming a not so good work but not a terrible work either.

Plot- The plot sounds interesting but it isn’t carried out well. There are to many things that just are, we are just supposed to accept them as facts in the manga, but we get no information on them or their background which left many questions for me within the plot. Some things just didn’t make sense and were never even touched upon. Not much happens during the plot and the twists weren’t all that interesting either.

Characters- I failed to get attached to them, I guess they did hold some charm but throughout the manga I didn’t much care what happened to them. They weren’t special enough and many of the secondary characters I found a bit annoying.

Art- Wasn’t all that great, it was tolerable but many of the images were a bit out of proportioned.

Other- The story is a bit gory (but mildly) and some parts (mainly the separate story dealing with R) were strange. I can’t really say I enjoyed this manga that much. No it wasn’t bad but it held no charm for me that made me like it. It just kind of was there and I didn’t care for the world this manga created. Being so short it was a quick read and if you wanted to you could quickly read through it but I don’t recommend the manga and it might be better to spend your time reading a better manga than this one.

it's really adorable and worth reading, in my opinion. the story can be a bit disconnected sometimes, even to the point of being confusing, but i really love it. it's a bit sad too. :'( I only wish it could be longer
