I get the point the author was trying to make with this manga; that shotacon isn't always the utmost disgusting abomination known to mankind and fangirls in particular. I mean, it's kinda hard to miss it, not when she rubs it to your face verbally in every 2-3 chapters like that, to the point where the reader can't take out much from the manga aside from the fact that there are circumstances when pedophilia is not wrong. I actually don't hate shotacon to the extent that some people do; what I don't like is mediocrity and poor execution. This manga unfortunately packs both of those flaws, it's simply kinda bland and has no real depth or substance. I feel nothing towards the characters or the root of their 'original love', like where does the love stem from? Maybe the mangaka should have put more effort into writing a decent love story instead of just using the characters' thoughts to say that their relationship is oh-so special.

this story has a much deeper meaning in it then "yay shota". it shows a love which is rare but is heartwarming and truly beautiful

@aigaither you must not understand that true love comes in more then 1 flavor. if you had paid any attention you would see that they truly love each other and are everything to each other. it was even hinted that his love is the same as takakki's when it said "Is my love for yuuki really caused by the inheritance of genetics...?" hinting that he might be more than his clone.

This is not only wrong, its insulting, there is a huge difference between homosexuality and pedophilia. Please do not read this if you have any respect for gay people and the struggle they make every day to define love between two males and child molestation.

Generally I loathe shota but this really doesn't feel like it. This isn't a story about a boy being manipulated and taken advantage of. Rather it's a story about 2 males completely consenting and truly in love. Indeed the younger party initiates the relationship despite the fears and reservations of the elder.
Beautiful story and beautiful art.
