UGH. I can't believe two years have passed since the last update and this manga was seriously my cup of tea. A masculine female lead... a slight reversal of gender roles. BUT I WON'T GIVE UP! Please update soon :c

Who cares if she's masculine?

I find the comments about her looking too much like a man so ignorant. There are a lot of women out there who have masculine features and a lot of men who look a bit more feminine than the average male. I don't think that should be a basis for disliking the story, which I actually think is really good. It's got a lot of heart and, although Prince Charming used to be a womanizer, Subaru has proven herself to be a kind and friendly person—which should be more than enough for a likeable heroine.

Total Lesbian

This feels like a shonen/shojo-ai because of two reason: main character (female) actually admits to liking females on several occasions, even when she has like three guys after her affections (shojo-ai). Also the main character looks so masculine that I don't even consider her a girl! Flat chest, short hair, manly face - she looks just like the other guys, even when she wears girl's clothing!! And all the guys are still attracted to her (shonen-ai)

So she's a lesbian and all the guys are gay (which makes sense because she's actually supposed to be a boy and they're supposed to be girls) but its still weird. This type of gender bender works for Ai Ore (barely) but this mangaka doesn't quite pull it off. Other parts of the story bother me - it's not the shonen-ai and shojo-ai elements that bother me (I'm not a stupid homophobe) but the story is poorly written and the art isn't that great.

I want to love it, but I can't.

I have to show my love for Matsuzuki. I love all her stories, and this one is no exception. I'm so glad a group finally started scanlating this again! This manga is a great read, especially if you've read her other works such as Shiawase - the characters are definitely similar and you'll find yourself remembering them often.

I though by the cover and the art that she had a harem of 5...

She looks TOO MUCH like a guy. Also, the story is full of problems. At first, I was really confused. The author just throws you in without much explanations, and you are left trying to stumble along the awkward plot. Then, the harems states their "princesshood" in such a blunt and hokey way that it makes me wonder if I would continue reading (which I am). And she just BELIEVES them!!! She's just met them for god's sake. Besides, she will have to get over the fact that she is an obvious LESBIAN, not that she tries to hide it. Not happy with it so far, the art is a 6.5/10 because it is sketchy, not too clear, or really pleasing to look at, The characters kind of suck in development and depth of personality, and plot points are thrown like water balloons, stated so bluntly that it has lost it's flow. I will give it the benefit of the doubt as everyone else loves it, and will continue on this quest for a good manga. I liked Happy Cafe, so hoping to see this one improve. Although, I am kind of fond of Megumi, and have my hopes set of him.

Great plot, hands down. I've been hooked from the very beginning. The characters are so cute especially Reiji with his money-saving tricks. XD Anyway, I'm glad that this has been picked up again because it has so much potential.

I was so happy to immediately find out about this manga once the first chapter was released! First chapter was good! I made some predictions (which were too obvious )... When more chapters came, my prediction came true!!! .... I'm rooting for Cinderella and the witch.. I like them both.. Thumbellina and snow white didn't really give an impact to me.... So this is highly recommended

This manga is reminiscent of Matsuzuki Kou's previous work, Shiawase Kissa Sanchoume. Aspects of Subaru, the main character of this manga, will remind you of Uru-chan from SKS. Moreover, the humor is tastefully done and the plot is pretty original. All of the characters are fleshed out and looked at in depth, which is a nice thing to see since Matsuzuki-sensei left some things uncovered in SKS. Another good thing about this manga is that all of the characters seem to get equal coverage, which is great. Matsuzuki Kou is a manga-genius, and her characters are all loveable.

I look forward to see where this manga goes, and I hope that it becomes just as popular, if not even moreso, than SKS. smile
