I first knew of the series through knowing it as three different artbooks. But then, wow, a series? Cool! I was moved even without the words! Let's see... Oh crap... I don't care about the translation anymore...
Peony Pavillion is a great introduction to the intricacies of Chinese poetry. The art is beautiful and the translators do a laudable job of attempting to translate the nuances of the poems into English.
