This story was not really scary to me even though i read this late at night.... I guess the romantic aspect threw the whole thing off. BUT, nonetheless, it is a good story! I really liked the twist at the end, and it made me respect the main character a lot.
However, there were some questions that were left unanswered. But, I liked how the story ended on a upbeat note. To be honest, I was expecting a load of crap to occur throughout the whole thing, and I'm glad little of that happened.
Totally surprised! When i was looking for a good manga, i found this. First chapter, i thought it was just normal and boring story, but everything changed!
I mean, WOW o.O! It's very good, recommended!
I actually read it one sitting, and at the end i felt completely satisfied. It was a truly great manga and I highly recommend it. I liked the whole concept with the undead and whatnot and overall the romance was great.
This is my favorit.. this one and liliam kiss. Short stories but realy realy cool. Love the ending.
Nice love story

The art is not the best, but the storyline, I just love it. It's kinda romantic for a shounen story, and I just love the happy ending for both of them, perfect!
cool i guess
i dont like the art. it is flimsy and all over the place, it don't really deliver 'gore' that i want. the execution have something to be desired to, it is not easy to follow and seems to jump from one scene to the other. the characters are unbelievable and unrealistic, i couldn't think of 16year old boy having such a body nor have such an occupation. the boy as a character is quite cool, but the girl is one dimensional and boring. and her design is very run off the mill, i felt bored just looking at her. and a lot of stuff seems to be left hanging. especially concerning Karas (crow), her existence is quite flimsily explained.
however, i really do like this new way of 'fighting' supernatural entities. never seen it done like this before, bringing a whole new meaning to the phrase 'fighting to the death'. all in all, fairly entertaining but not something you remember or desire to read once again.
This series was well drawn and overall just a fun read. It keeps one hooked right from the beginning and executes the remainder of the storyline beautifully all the way to the end. One of the better short stories I've read.

It is surprisingly good. When I first saw this, all I'm thinking is that it could use half an hour or so of my life. But Oh My Goodness! I loved the story. It was complex, horrifying, and touching all at the same time. The story's dark but it gave me an extremely warm feeling at the end (no lie!).
Perfect 10! One of the best I've read.
It's a great short story to read, with a horror twist. Don't judge the manga by its title; it's far from being "sweet" and "sugary". I was touched by how much Muoru was willing to sacrifice for Melia. The story ended so quickly, I thought there would be more to it, but I'm satisfied with the ending.
Short and sweet.
Honestly this manga is too slow. Things only gets going after seven-teen chapters. Don't come into this manga expecting fast development and action scenes. At heart this is a horror manga that takes its time to tell the story. The main protagonist on this one is quite good. I thought at first that he's just one in a long line of lame male protagonist. But he's actually kind of smart, has guts and doesn't mind getting his hands dirty to achieve his goal. I look forward how the story develops.
Update: Wow. That ended much sooner than I expected. I would have love to read more.
