Description
Just before entering the university, Yanagiba Masahiko's father died in a car accident. His mother died when he was four, which makes him now really an orphan. But even before the death of his father, he didn't have a family life, as his father was always busy or abroad.

It revolves around portraying trans(?) people as weird freaks who undress in front of a newly encountered minor and swing their ****s around, who in turn is terrified of "what if that girl isn't even a girl" in his own relations with people. Avoid.
Under the surface of the transgender topic, this master piece covers the topics of love, friendship and family, which are the topics that will last forever in our world. And it is also these topics that make me deeply moved.

Constantly having characters misgender themselves or hurtfully misgender others, unrelenting transmisogynitic jokes, and the running joke for the reason that the mc doesn't act on feelings is because he's afraid she "could be a man" (read: have a penis) 
It's awful. As well as embarrassingly unrealistic for a manga that masquerades as one presenting "accurate" representations of trans people.

As I read I liked and wanted to continue reading, but as I went on I felt the manga continue to be stretched and losing it's appeal. It all culminated on a rushed ending with an open end without resolving much. In the end It is hard to recommend to someone looking for a good manga, but if you are without any good options this is not an horrendous manga, just unfulfilling.
Gender bending is my favorite genre. In fact, this manga got every of that genre. I never really care about gender that much. The reality is that there is no real definition of how a man or woman should dress or act like. The general stereotypes is what our society deemed as "normal". Anything beyond the "normal" boundaries will obviously considered strange. However, because of that "normal", human are restricted to who they really want to be. We only have a life, it's a huge waste to live for other but not for ourselves.
Love the story, love the main characters but hate the ending. Read only if you want a good gender bender slice of life manga with good comedic elements. Otherwise stay out cause this series resolves nothing, nothing at all. Be in for a disappointment if you are here for everything but comedy.

my problems with the manga is that by volume 3 it becomes clear that the mangaka is intent on "brainwashing" his audience into thinking that cross dressing and sex changes are "good". though I was wary of this happening when I started the series, I had hoped that the mangaka would let us draw our own conclusions instead of hitting us with arc after arc to show the supposed righteousness of these people.
as for the romance...its sadly lacking by the 3rd volume. that is to say, the main theme of the manga is its gender bender aspect with a sprinkling of romance, not the other way around.

I really like this one. It's the best gender bender. And though it is about Trap and Reverse Trap it really somehow seems to be about normal happy family. And i can't stop thinking like: "It's really lucky that they have found each other".
I'm quite disappointed with the whole series. I've read the 14 vols in French version and had to skip the last volume. The only good part is that the series deals with the issues of gender bender quite well. However, the romance part is quite dissapointing. Also the main character is quite immature and the romance between the two main characters doesn't develop at all in the whole series. If you're looking for romance, don't bother about it.
Overall, this book has everything from being blackmailed to cross dress, to dealing with a Yakuza boss that is chasing the main character, to the main character trying to figure his cousin out. I personally have enjoyed this series so far. It is very funny at times and it can be very moving at times since it deals with a sensitive subject through out the story. In all honesty if you reservations on GBLT type backdrops for the story, you may not enjoy. If you read with a open mind living all biases behind, it is an amazing and fun story.
