Completely agree with Tentacle. Definitely read that other one compared to this one. The main character in this manga spends so long being the very thing he detests and they don't even try to explain their feelings to each other properly. It's a shame because it's so beautifully drawn.
Wth?!!

What's wrong with those sport students? The uke was helping them even though he did not obligated to, but the only thing they could do was bossing around and mocking him?? Excuse me? Aren't you all grown up man? Why not taking care of yourself? When living in other people's house and not paying even one penny, isn't it obvious you should at least try to be grateful and helpful instead of acting like King? They're all asshole (maybe except that chibi kouhai) and the seme included. He was clearly seeing how the uke being mistreated but he didn't do anything to help, instead when knowing the uke's intention to move out he blamed him and told him to think of "other people's feeling"??!! WTF was that? Did he even be considerate to the uke's feeling at all? He got jealous and all but did he ever told the uke he liked him?
And the father... don't even get me started on him. He mistreated his wife to the point she left in anger, but he didn't even reflect on his actions but continued to mistreat his son as well. When the son couldn't put up with his shit any longer, he then scolded him and told him he was selfish for not devoting all his time doing the household chores... Why should the son have to try to sympathize with the father, he doesn't deserve that. He should end up being alone and helpless to know how to properly treat his family member right.
This is a messed up story. I don't rate it too low cause I like and pity the uke. I hope he breaks up with the guy though.

Basically this is a Cinderella in the XXI Century, where sadly there is no prince or Fairy God Mother and where Cinderella ends up with one of their abusers.
No thanks. If I was him, I would have left with his mom long ago. No way I would put up with being a house slave and being insulted and mistreated by everyone there.
I loved Junketsu Drop, and I thought this was going to be as good as that one, but no, not at all.

People are under rating this manga. It's obvious that the story is a slow built up that is taking its time to tell us a story. Kadokura is a young man who wants to help his single father while at the same time follow his dream of moving somewhere far away and find himself instead of being stepped on. He is growing up and learning about himself. Not so easy when you are in love with one of the athletes you are caring for, Kima.
Although Kima can be an a$$sometimes, he is a good guy at heart and is scared about Kadokura moving away from him. The characters are relatable and solid and I find their relationship to be sweet. Kadokura even kept the medicine bottle Kima gave him from all those years ago. There is something special here, can't wait for the next chapter.

Just whhhhaaaat?!!
Kadokura seems like a complete push-over.
Those athletes seem to be extremely crap-heads and he just puts up with it! Just...wtf?!!! I don't know if it's just casual for guys to be so rude towards each other especially towards the person who's going to take care of you. That part made me ticked off and I pity Kadokura for living in that situation. He takes a lot of crap from them if I actually lived in that situation I would've kicked their arses.
Father is negligent and no wonder his wife left.
They're almost grown men and should take care of themselves! Or at least help out!
The relationship between him and Kima appears very very undeveloped and forced.
The art is decent, but the characters are meh.
Updated: So I raised my score to a 7 because I'm really liking the development of Kadokura so far. He's treading a path he wants instead of giving into the demands of others. You go man!

I really loved Junketsu Drop. Sadly for me this is nothing like it. The characters come off as entirely different and it's not the same type of spirit in the stories. I'm not a big fan of these type of manga with the casual touching/sex type of thing with all this predictable drama, but I still hope that I will see the Kadokura from Junketsu Drop that I took a liking to.
