Description
Natsuki is teased for being a hopeless romantic, Keiichi disguises his sadism with an angelic grin, Tsuyoshi is an otaku who can't read the air, and Tomoya is a frivolous playboy who likes his archenemy. The rainbow-colored story of (sometimes dubious) friendship and (mis)adventures in love of these four boys who spend their daily high school life by having fun starts when recently-dumped Natsuki received a pack of tissues from a girl wearing Santa costume in the streets on Christmas eve.

I just started a few pages of chapter 1. Tbh, it starts off quite dry, idk, this is One of 3 shoujos that is told from the boys pov i ve ever read (one is Your Smile is a Trap, absolute 10/10 and the other is 3D girlfriend - 6/10?)

Update: i dropped. Maybe the translation is not my style.

Im so into Keiichi-chan! It's kinda sad that each of their love story is a bit short. I definitely love Mari-chan and Mattsu's love story, they're too adorable. I wanted more chapters though, I didn't want to end it 🙁((

Good, but gets frustrating

Let me say first that the friendship between the main characters is really the glue that holds the series together. They've all got distinct personalities and are quite enjoyable in their own ways, it's what kept me with the series for so long. However as the series beings to advance I find myself getting more and more annoyed every chapter. One of the things that absolutely kills a series for me is when the confession is dragged out just a bit too long. Natsuki's relationship was one of the good points of the series early on and then it just starts to stagnate, I thought by chapter 20 that the confession was right around the corner and by chapter 40 I'm just getting a headache every time a new a new thing happens to keep the drama going on a bit longer. I think there's been no less than 5 interrupted confessions and some of the situations (like when a character tells Natsuki to wait until THEY confess first, then they... don't confess, which means that Natsuki of course has to tell the girl something that makes her misinterpret the feelings he has... you get the idea) are just so contrived it just makes me stop caring as much about the plot.

I guess the problem is that they have four main characters, so they could be focusing more on each individual character more often. It would really help take the burden off the Natsuki story in terms of holding up the overall plot so there wouldn't have to be so many cliche anime misunderstandings and more actual growth and character development. Tsuyoshi for example is kinda underused, even though I find the relationship with his girlfriend to be one of the saving graces of this manga.

I think i come across as super negative here so I do want to reitrate that I don't hate this manga at all. It's just that at a certain point a series begins to erode away at my good will and patience. If you can stomach some of the more annoying shoujo tropes then maybe this series will do more for you than it did for me. Personally I think I'm going to get a blood clot from screaming "JUST KISS ALREADY!!!" at the page

At first i just read three chapters and put it in on hold list, but now i finished watching the anime and thought that it was so wrong for me to not continue reading it, so i'm up to the latest chapter (36 now) and i really recommend this manga, yes the plot is simple but each character have their own amazing personality and their dialogues can make you laugh, sad or get you thinking, it's really interesting and lets you wanting more, it isn't cliche. it's one of the few mangas that makes relax when reading it :3 ... i think the best it's that you can relate with the characters and feel what's happening.

I. REALLY. LOVE. THIS. Yeah, unfortunately, I don't know where I should read the continues. I love the bromance in this manga, really natural I think, funny and heartwarming. Each of characters are just deserves to have some in your plate, they're really lovable. The romance, I love the three--yeah, three because Kei-chan hasn't have a partner yet, though, I'd like to read more about Mat-sun and Mari (those two just a cute couple for me). Yeah, I hope there's some scanlation group who wants to translate this (and I really hope my country will publish it). cross fingering.

Very cute and funny! What makes this shoujo manga unique is that the story is told from a boy's perspective. I really like the characters-- I find them realistic, they really feel like boys, they are so stupid funny, lol. I find this manga quite original and refreshing smile

I guess this is a bit similiar to Seishun Kouryakuhon (I also thought of that while reading) -- both are shoujo with male lead, with a lot of attention to male friendship -- but I think this one is better. Seishun Kouryakuhon bored me and I didn't find the characters as fun, I think their behavior was a bit unrealistic (for guys).

Fun and Simply Rainbow-colored

Only a few chapters are scanlated so far and this has become one of my top-5 fave manga because it's simply relaxing. No big drama whatsoever. Just 4 boys having fun together, making fun of each other (it's too idiotic you can't help but laugh, well that's what makes them boys). All 4 main characters are lovable and simply adorable in their own ways--though my fave would have to be the lackluster otaku because his reactions are just gold. And when they made chocolate truffles... Oh dear lord, such hilarious boys I wanna pat their heads I couldn't stop laughing.

Okay enough about that, JUST GO AND READ THIS because you will not regret it. wink

It's not completed yet. Volume two was just released on the 22nd November and new chapter will appear on the next issue of Betsuma Sister.

I always end up falling for shoujo with male leads and Nijiiro Days is no exception biggrin Funny, quirky characters and it's pretty comical. It reminded me a bit of Akizuki Sorata's Seishun Kouryakuhon but Nijiiro Days focused more on the romance aspect. It's a cute, fun, and light read.
