Great plot premise however unfortunately, the plot was pretty confusing. I still finished the story, but yeah I am kind of sad cause it really feels like there could have been so much more done with this instead of just making it confusing fluff.

The translation for the first volume is a bit iffy, making the story difficult to follow at some parts, but the translation gets much better as the story goes on. The story, overall, is very sweet. It's mostly about the two siblings and their interaction with others in their unique circumstance. The ending, I think, was the best part of this story. I recommend for anyone who wants to read a story about sibling love and moving on from death. =)

I disagree with most of the comments, although the first few chapters were confusing, but it gradually becomes better, the ending is very touching to me.

I'm glad that she didn't kill herself, it ended quite happily, although it was a bit too short, to not get to know the other characters that well

I think that the plot for this manga is really interesting and somewhat unique. I think that the brother and sister relationship is really sweet, and the overprotective dead older brother adds an interesting and comedic twist to the story.

It's kind of confusing for the first time. But I found it quiet unique too. Coz it's not like most mangas these days. The plot was funny and interesting. I'm wandering what will happened at the end.
So, I'm waitin for the next volumes..^ ^

i'm confused. although the last chapter does seem like a suitable ending, the status clearly says that the manga is 'ongoing', so what's with everybody's comments that the manga is bad or odd because it's finished with an odd twist? because the manga is clearly not 'complete' yet.
i thought it was a good shoujo manga, and i disagree with brid's comment. not all shoujo mangas have to have the male lead immediately fall for the female, and who said the senpai was the male lead anyway?
and i doubt there are any incestuous themes due to the overall feel from this series, but infer if you will.
the characters are pretty well developed, and the story's bit cliche (Return by Miura Noriko? anyone?), but the plot was funny and interesting.
i'd recommend this if you're looking for a funny, brief read at the moment.

ETA: At the time I (and the people below me) reviewed this series, it was incorrectly listed as completed at 2 volumes, causing us all to think it had an abrupt ending. It turns out there are a total of 4 volumes to the series. I'm leaving the review as-is, but will update it if and when I read the rest of the series. ^_^;
This was almost like a (platonic) love story between the brother and sister rather than the sister and the brother's friend, as one might expect. I was fine with that as the relationship between the two siblings was quite touching and not really meant to be incestuous. (Although Shirou idolized his sister and was extremely overprotective of her, so I suppose if you really wanted to see incestuous overtones there, you could.)
What was really interesting to me, but disappointing for many readers, I'm sure, was the fact that Shirou's friend, who Masago had a huge crush on, had absolutely NO interest in her, despite the fact that he knew about Shirou's spirit inhabiting her body and was constantly trying to protect her because of it. In cases like this, the male lead always falls for the female lead, and yet this guy didn't. This leads me to believe that the series was cancelled before anything could actually develop between them, thus the lame abrupt ending. It seemed to me that a possible love-triangle was being set up at the end with the friend, the delinquent boy, and Masago, but of course it never went anywhere because of the ending. Or perhaps the delinquent boy was supposed to be Masago's compensation, because at the end of the manga, Masago tells Shirou essentially that
Had the series gone on longer, perhaps the mangaka might have continued with that plot twist? Looking back on it, there were some indications of his feelings prior to the ending chapter, so instead of a love-triangle, we might have ended up with one heck of a love-quadrangle.
But unfortunately with the way the series is, all we can do is speculate. For what it is, the series isn't bad and is actually mildly entertaining thanks to some fun characters (thankfully Masago included). So read it if you run across it (no need to go out of your way to track it down), but don't expect brilliance or an especially satisfying ending.

the friend was actually in love with him the entire time. (The yaoi fangirl in me was fist pumping at that revelation. ^_^;)

Yeah, as blueseeker stated, the ending was a bit... off. The story itself was a bit confusing, too. But overall, the art was nice and the character development was pretty good. -_-

Huh, turns out someone had made a mistake and it didn't end in 2 volumes, but 4?! I'll have to search for the raws and hopefully since the last 2 volumes were not released in the US, it'll be picked up by a group soon.
This manga ALMOST made it to my perfect score because the plot is unlike most shoujo mangas these days, the art is good and the way the story developed was good......BUT suddenly we have ANOTHER unfinished ending....geez i think am having really bad luck this week with the mangas am reading.

This was alright, but it could have been better. I would have liked it better if there was more romance and development with the main few, as well as a better ending. Overall this isn't too bad, I didn't regret spending time on this.
