I stumbled over this Manga while looking through the new releases list. The drawing style of the cover was not really too enticing but the way the girl looked so sad made me at least interested enough to check out the cover text... then I read the whole manga online in one go, bought the newly released book in my language and reread it right out of the package (I merely wanted to look at a few places to see how a professional translator interpreted the text but got hooked again immediately).
There is so much pain and struggling but also so much life in this manga. Not much turns out the way it initially looks and characters have tremendous depth even though the story fits into one book. While I didn't like the art style at the beginning it really grew on me and in the end I was disappointed that the book ended so soon and that I couldn't experience more of the relationship of the main characters. One of my favorites.

A short but gripping story that doesn't stop being enjoyable from start to finish.

Haru's Curse is a story about an older sister who starts going out with her dead sister's fiancee.... Its fucked up. Their "shouldn't they" relationship is Haru's Curse.
The series in enveloped in this dense atmosphere as both the main characters feel guilty for there actions but can't stop themselves from doing it either. Despite this thick atmosphere, there is moments of lighthearted playfulness. Cracks in the manga to make sure the manga's tone never overwhelms the reader. The manga is engaging and entertaining and with only 8 chapters i can really only say so much. Except the fact that i really liked this series. This is one of the few series i have actually re-read.
The characters personality are also fantastic. No one is ok. Everyone thinks they are depraved, and you can really see it on the characters faces. I like the fact that the series actually takes itself super seriously. So when the big reveal actually does happen there is actual weight and pressure. Its also nice for the characters to actually have to live with the consequences of there decision rather than everything being ok
Despite my praise this series does suffer from 1 thing. I thought when the FMC finds the information of her sister i thought was a little too convenient. but even with this hiccup this is probably one of the better series i have read this year.
Congratulations to KONISHI Asuka this is the first series i have given an 8/10 this year.

I can not wait until this is in stores! As it's one of my absolute favorite manga's. One of the best psychological stories I've read in a long time and it hits all the right spots.

It's shorter than the series I usually read, but it's complete in its storytelling. Bittersweet but optimistic in its unfolding and ending. The three main characters were really likeable, and I love that none of them were perfect.
I don't think I'll ever forget this particular story.

Honestly, I read the other story of the mangaka and I have to say that I love her works. The way she tells the story, the way she makes the plot go on is simple perfectly done. You get to see a little bit of every character and it might see something light but it gets deeper. Enjoyed this story.

The main character falling for his/her sibling's love interest is a plot line that is not unique. What IS unique is the way the author handled the romance- here the main characters did not rush headlong into love (although the premise of their "dates" was weird) and

dying sister is actually concerned about her love interest moving on in life and worse......moving on with her sister. Other stories with similar plot have usually have a "mary-sue" like character who actively encourage their siblings and fiancé to fall in love with one another. I find such characters very irritating not mention unrealistic.
So it was great to see the mangaka deal with such a situation more realistically. My only issue with this story was the reason why she wanted to go with the ML on their dates-- the reasoning weirded me out. But all in all, worth reading IMHO.Realistic but Sweet Story

One of the best romance and psychological manga I've ever read. it is short but the after taste of bittersweet is lingering for a long time. It has a heavy theme and sweet tanginess of 'sinful' love. I love the realistic and mature ending.
Maybe I rushed through it

First few chapters were interesting and kept my focus captivated, but towards the end of this series I wanted just that... to find out the end already. On a side note, I found some of the characters words hard to understand, and had to reread a few times to get the point- possibly could be because I wasn’t able to relate to the characters... might give it another shot in the future.
It was great until the last chapter

This was such a great manga with a unique plot and good storytelling. I'm just a little upset over the abrupt ending (ch 8). Ch 7 ended so well and I was sad that it ended with too much of an open ending for me. I still really enjoyed it though! Would have been at least a 8 or 9/10.
please read it

I can't, really. Is one of my favorite mangas, along with Berserker and Noragami. Is really good, psychological, heavy, makes you think. I just cannot proprerly express myself about this awesome manga. Is kind of depressing, but it was its sweet moments. Give it a try, pleaseee
