What is a sweet, soft-spoken girl (Ha Li Kang) to do when her brothers, having just learned fencing and martial arts, decide to test some moves out on her in order to "tame her" and make her into their "little slave?" She runs to her knightly friend (Te Hu Kang, not related to Ha Li) for protection, of course. However, what happens when, instead of comforting her, he tells her that she is a coward for running away like a puppy who needs constant protection? No, she does not break down and cry like a weak girl. Instead, she resolves to grow stronger. With rigorous training everyday, Ha Li goes from being a scared girl who cries for help to becoming the Jjang (boss of a gang) of the Doberman gang. However, events lead to Ha Li getting in an accident with a truck. Afterwards, she is reborn into the body of a beautiful, but weak, rich girl Aram Han.

At her new school, everyone is surprised at the sudden change they see in Aram, who has gone from a gloomy, good student to a rude, carefree troublemaker. Many people bully her. When Ha Li finds out that it is all due to Sin Uoo Park, the handsome prince and Jjang of the school who detests Aram, she decides to have a duel with him for the position of Jjang. What will happen next is for you to find out in this romantic comedy Korean manhwa.

Typical HMR but interesting

Don't get me wrong, I think it wasn't as bad as the rest of her works. *laughs* That's not saying much, because the rest of her works are really bad. But still, its very typical of this author. Stupid muscleheads, gluttons, stupidity, wickedness, possessiveness, abusive relationships etc. Character designs are typical. Personality types are typical. Character interactions are typical. Now that I think about it, this manhwa is so typical.

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
However, this manga started strong. Despite some pitfalls, I thoroughly enjoyed the first arc. I thought Ha Ji was (le gasp) cute and hilarious. She was stupid but can be really cunning without meaning to. I thought that was interesting and would've loved to see that stuff happen due to that manipulation. Spoiler alert: Shame it didn't go in that direction. Anyways, Aram's (the real one) story is fairly tragic. To destroy yourself because of selfishness, that's always unfortunate.

But as the series went on, the laziness became apparent. This should've been two completely separate stories. What was the point of that body swap thing if it was going to be swept under the freaking rug? The author still shows the 'shinigami' occasionally, then forgets about him. Like what? Why did the manhwa become so melodramatic all of the sudden? The first arc could have been a so-so romantic comedy, the second a psychological romance.

I thought that the parts when everyone got really crazy were the most interesting. As I've mentioned before, it would've been better if Ha Ji's 'wickedness' bit her in the ass. It could have a perfect setup for character growth. How do you even deal with a psycho obsessed with you? Especially when he was a dear friend? What does this say about Ha Ji's true nature? Well, to be fair, Ha Ji's kidnapping by Han Seo was the closest thing I could get. Ha Ji unveiled herself in that brief gun scene. She was incredibly greedy, and the fact that she still justified her actions showed how manipulative she was. When it seemed that Han Seo was the cunning one, Ha Ji was just as messed up.

The ending says it all, well, in my opinion. See how these two people lived their lives after they fell to the sea. Who was the one who still tried to include themselves in another's life? Who was the one who still needed convincing in order to let someone go?

Man, I get way too much into this. *Sorry*

Unfortunately, I was more invested on the poison in Ha Ji and Han Seo's relationship than the former's romance with the main guy. I wished HMR went in that direction, instead of resorting to her cliches. It would've been a decent melodrama if needed be. At the very least, the ending was good for everyone. Save for that pedophilia thing, because uhm, just NO.

This one of the best mangas I had read so far.
You see, most of the characters in the story wear some kind of mask. For example, Sin Uoo Park... he wears a calm face and hides his true form just like everyone else, but for the female lead it's different. Ha Ji's poker face is her stupidity... She acts like she doesn't know at all but of course she knows well...
I guess the author tried to put a little twist in the late chapters...
Welll... I really liked it! Especially the ending.... :3

This is not for everybody. It is violent and dramatic to the extreme. The character can be so incredibly stupid that she makes you want to beat your head against the first available hard surface. The story sometimes drags on a tad too long (but i must say that i was never bored).
That being said . . . i Loved this story! It was different and entertaining.
It was so funny! I laughed so hard my stomach hurt! I do admit that once the bodies were switched back it wasnt as funny (mainly because the bringer of death wasnt there anymore- i loved him!) However it was funny through out the series it just got slightly less amusing.
I LOVED the bringer of death's funny commentary and facial expresions! They killed me!
It also got WAY more dramatic after the bodies switched back. which is not altogether a bad thing but a little less drama would have been better.
The characters were very memorable and lovable. They were rounded and well thought out characters who you couldnt help getting attached to.
All in all a very entertaining read.

dont get me wrong if i REALLY LIKE a manga i will go to hell and back to read a new chapter and i will read 400 chapters and enjoy every one and not get tired of it. it wasent that this was a bad manga either. it was great! i loved the story line and plot! so even tho i knew getting into it i wouldn't finish it (cuz i dident have ALL the elements i like in a manga) i had to start it anyways cuz the plot was to allureing. the lead male gets on my nerves a bit. only a little bit tho. but it is saying a lot sense i love the jerk types in mangas usally but this guy isent a jerk he is just .... -_- it really is good but the drama is way to intense for me. i love a LITTLE drama but there are so many twists and such and im only on chapter 50. D: i dident want to be there when the author started getting desperate to keep the audiences attention and started throwing in REALLY crazy twists. the arts nice. plots great. its a good read if your into dramas

I really Really liked this manga to begin with. However, half way through it just started to repeat itself and was dragged out for WAY to long. Really just get the two main people together and call that that. You don't need to make the same problems happen over and over and over again. it gets boring. I wouldve liked it better if i had read the first half and then the last chapter.

I found this one rather funny and different from anything I've personally read before, so I stuck with it. The main character was fun, if not painfully naive (and I mean really *twitch*). I liked it all up until a little past the middle where something totally ridiculous happened which made everything you've read up until that point obsolete. I was totally pissed because it never got resolved. First half: good, second half: terrible. For a shoujo Manhwa, it sure had a lot of attempted rapes. That's all I really remember from this one anymore...

I liked it at first. But a lot of what went on with the whole supernatural stuff was never really explained very well.I think it all went downhill for me when the girl went back to her original body. After that it got really boring and it was felt pretty repetative.
I also didnt like how it ended with the two main characters I remember the little ghost guy said that their relationship will 'shake all of Korea' or something like that but in the end they just started a produce type business. And I didnt really feel 'the love' with them. I still felt like the guy liked her better when she was in that other body rather then her real one.
But I dont know. Thats just my oppinion

This is the best manga series I have ever read. Even though it was a bit long and I wasn't really use to the drawing style, the story was very well written. It had strong yet complex plot and never failed to catch my attention. There were a lot of twists and it never really dragged like some other long mangas. I love the heroine of the story who was so strong willed and completely clueless. Hot blooded woman was an amazing manga.

The reason I voted this so low it that it kept getting worse and worse and the heroine turned out to be someone I can't admire at all.
