I love this manga, it's the only thing I'm buying from TokyoPop right now. Sucks that it's being postponed D:< I read the Japanese RAWs but it's such an awesome manga that I have to buy it too =D The artwork's really nice too~

This series is probably one of the best series I have ever read.
And I like the fact that it's not a short story about a guy who is in love with a girl and the girl loves the guy back and then they start dating, The End. It's actually pretty fun. They both like each other, and I guess they know that, but they just can't start their relationship right away and all, and I like the way it is, or else the story might be to fast. And Charming Junkie is also about modeling, unlike a ton of other shoujo mangas where they mostly focus on the romance. This manga is also very hilarious, and I actually laughed out loud when I was reading it! It's one of those MUST-READ mangas that you actually DO have to MUST-READ!
At first when I saw the manga, I thought it was boring, but when I checked it out a bit, I was like, "Hey, this is not so bad!" And now I'm addicted to Charming Junkie!

i really love this series.... the artwork is kind of lame, but if you get used to it, it ain't half bad... the story plot is really great especially the way the author balanced the way the events will happen... i really love it and it is currently my favorite now... i hope that the tokyopop publishing company will realize that this manga is not worth for postponing temporarily,,, i love and buy this manga so i hope that tokyopop will make it an ongoing project...

This is a really fun read and not too serious.
I really enjoy it and the characters are developing very well. It's not like the typical predictable Shoujo storyline. The romance isn't very impulsive and annoying. It reminds me of Kodocha!

Wow, another crossdressing model comic? The comments make it sound alright, at least...

Nothing groundbreaking, really, but nothing I can complain about, either. A pretty solid shoujo genderbender.

I do love Naka's faces, though. XD

I'm glad that this manga is getting more and more popular. This is just one of those rare mangas that you pick up because the art looks good, but when you read it, the story gets better and better-up until you find yourself hooked in. This is exactly the type of manga you expect from Hana to Yume; Fruits Basket was also awesome in the same way.

But it's really a pity that this manga only became known AFTER it was licensed by Tokyopop and there aren't more scanlationso___+ That, and the fact that Tokyopop's dropping the seventh volume makes me wonder. What will become of Nousatsu Junkie in the states?

Anyway, this manga is worth buying, for sure. It's cute, has great art, and the characters are very interesting. But be warned, the romance blossoming is a BIT slow, and all these obstacles pop up that slows down the relationship even more, so if you like something fast and quick, this isn't the one for you(unless you are willing to risk that to see the pretty pictures).

if a good thing happens is because of umi if a bad thing happens its because of naka
the story line is horrible so childish the author tries to make umi seem impressive but is making no sense in doing that and the charactor is too clich and seems too forceful i cant believe people actually likes this manga and find it funny i dont even get how it got published

This is one of the only manga i actually collect, I wish it was scanlated but i think its definitely worth buying lol. The art, character design and plot are all really cute in comparison to most shoujo manga. Plus the characters personalities are interesting and the plot flows better then other shoujo. I'm completely in love with the manga!
