Description

Ryuu, a super-businesslike transfer student from England--with black hair, and blue eyes just arrived! During the night of the Tanabata festival, Ryuu and Yukino became attracted to each other at first sight. He then declares, “You will be mine!” This brought confusion to Yukino, who has zero experience in love. But could she actually be falling in love?

I lovelovelove this manga so much!! The couple is so beautiful!! I cried so much during chapters 13-14(ok, i was listening to christina perri's thousand years during from the sex scene to almost very so the song's also to blame, lol).

Well, I wasn't a fan of Ryuu's forceful actions but in the end he DIDN'T FORCE her to have sex with him! He wasn't the worst guy ever... Because he DID ASK, in the end, before the real action. He was gentle, very gentle.

If you like stories where the guy is constantly trying to force the girl when she's not ready, with her peers and mom facilitating this kind of abuse, I guess you'll like this. If you can forget the fact that in real life this would all constitute emotional abuse, peer pressure, and sexual assault, then you will find the rest of it cute and romantic.

This series was definitely not what I was expecting, but I have to say that I absolutely loved it. It isn't often that I have heroines that I adore but Yukino is just sooo darn cute. She is sweet and has a little sass to her. Ryuu was hot as hell. They made a wonderful couple. Yay there was no love triangle. It gets hard to read manga in every shoujo there is a love triangle and I feel so bad for the one that isn't picked. It was nice just to have a series that focuses on the love between the two characters without any ridiculous obstacles in the way. It's a nice change of pace. This story is definitely a MUST READ.

It's kinda surprising how series like This get so much love and praise. First of all, I didn't like Ryuu whatsoever. He is disrespectful, forceful and on the verge of abusive. He CONSTANTLY is trying to get at Yukino, even though she's made it clear she's not ready. picks the lock to her room and gets on top of her While she's sleeping, backs her against the wall and holds her down while shoving his hand up her shirt, saying he's gonna prepare her little by little. and threatens to "make love" to her as punishment for acting unknowningly flirty around his bodyguard.

...And yet Edward Cullen's labeled an abusive boyfriend.O.o go figure.

Yukino's an good character. I like how she defends herself against Ryuu Though sadly...

She does give into him in the end. by her choice due to Circumstances. of course. Rolls Eyes

Plus her mom is an lousy mom! O__o what kind of mom just allows an stranger into her home and gladly wants him and Yukino to fool around? she also chastises Yukino for protecting herself and not gladly giving herself to Ryuu! someone call CPS on her ass!

Besides the relationship is rushed, they never go on dates or anything. plus not much drama or obstacles for them to overcome.

Tora, Ryuu's bodyguard was actually my favorite <3 He was likable, adorable, respectable & would have made an better boyfriend than Ryuu >.>

The Art's nice but not enough to save this. i don't recommend this at all.

This series reminds me a lot of Hana ni Arashi, except this one is more realistic and serious, plus the ending made me cry (it was the perfect ending). The pacing and angst were just right and the chapter and volume endings made you want to continue reading (I hadn't planned to read it all in one sitting). The art was lovely, except I did not like how the eyes were drawn. Overall, I highly recommend this series and Hana ni Arashi. 🙂

I admit that I started this story just because of the beautiful cover, and not expecting much of the plot as I've been finding myself reading an endless supply of plotless ones. The first chapter was kinna boring but it gradually got me hooked.

it story has great protagonists, funny side characters (I especially love Toko and the girl's mom), and a straightforward plot that doesn't have too much drama.

i recommend this for anyone who feel like reading a light manga with no complications.

One thing that I find kills a good manga for me is when the characters are suddenly changed so that it makes the plot easier to push forward. There are several that I recall doing just that.

Here we have a girl that is not playing hard to get but who is hard to get, and she remains so for the entire manga. The male lead is also constant though he is a very unrealistic character he remains a dreamlike character for many females.

The interplay between the two leads and with the side characters at times is very humorous. This is not painful humor but fun mainly playing on the female lead Yukino's weakness with having no real ability to deal with guys.

The romantic aspects are also well written and told so that it is both humorous and a feel good type story. While there are many people that like conflict and trials and many that like horror and other genres this is truly romantic comedy in it's simplest form. More focusing on romance.

Overall a well told story with an enjoyable ending and one that I can, have, and will reread many times.

I really liked. There was a lot of character growth and development, but it bothered me a little that everyone was pushing the female lead into doing more with her boyfriend, stuff she honestly wasn't comfortable with yet. But it was a realy good and i enjoyed reading it.

I was a tad annoyed with the girl at the beginning... you would think a teenage girl would not be so 'unfeeling' if she is in love (I don't care how innocent she was supposed to be!)
As for young entrepreneur, it is a bit exaggerated to be believable, but then you have Napster & Facebook's creators as real life example...
Overall, very lovable story, no annoying cliche love triangle, no unbelievable tragedy... And a lot of light-hearted wisdom, it's a great read!

Yep.. DONE with it after a day... I mustt say this manga is very romantic, and the characters have pure personality( i dont really know how 2 explain it but yeah, their pure) not so smutty, and it's cute how the guy tease the girl ... I love the stpry because it doesnt have any typical shoujo antagonist and situation.. BUT despite that, this manga doesnt have any events where you 'll remember ... I think it doesnt have a strong backgroud in every chapters, it's like it is already in ur plate, wht you just have to do is eat it. Though the characters have strong personality, as i said the stories are weak, but it will give you a good read... So it is still one of my recommended series...(^_^)
