Ahh my gosh. I can't believe I haven't made a comment on this manga yet!!
It's definitely one of my favorite shoujo manga right now! I'm keeping up with it very attentively.

Their love story started when in junior high. It was both their first love. However, it was never resolved because the main guy Kou was transferred to another school for family reasons. They did not meet each other again until high school. It's a story about rekindled love.

I'm SUCH a sucker for first love stories. Reading this makes my heart race every time. kyaaa
There's no doubt that they have good chemistry. They have a very strong bond, developed from when they were younger and somehow strengthened from each other's absence and the memory/though of what-could-have-been over the years. They both remembered the feelings they had for each other years ago that were never properly articulated.

Both Futaba (main girl) and Kou (main guy) are well-developed. I won't say they have deep characters, but the background stories for both are good at explaining how they become what they are now presently.

The art is very good. Cute, without being overly adorable. Clean, with this wispy strokes here and there (mainly for the hair). I quite like it.

I would strongly recommend it for anyone looking for a good shoujo with likable characters.

I was actually hoping that it will be a love triangle between Futaba, Kou, and that other guy she accidentally touched on the crotch. but alas, Futaba and Kou's relationship doesn't seem to be easily shaken...edited: yep some competition. Drama drama drama! Hehehe I love it

A story that makes my heart beat fast almost all the time and makes me feel feverish from excitement is the best kind of story.

What I love about this is the pacing of the story, I know it might seem a tad slow for some, but for me its just right. I always feel like I'm on a journey together with the characters and I enjoy stories that give out that feeling.

Some of the scenes in this manga, okay almost all of them, ah! I want to see in color! too much!

The latest chapter had me a bit worried...so I'll have to wait and see if it goes uphill or downhill from there.

But, I would definitely recommend this to everybody.

Probably the best shoujo manga out right now. I find the story very realistic and though there are some cliche's used, it is done beautifully. Futaba is one of my favorite female heroine, I can relate to her in so many levels. I like that she is emotionally strong, honest and genuinely want to help Kou overcome his past. The plot is just amazing and I hope that it continues to be amazing. I can't wait until the new volume comes out 🙂 It is definitely worth it to read, I dont think anyone will be disappointed.

Beautiful art, cute story, loveable characters, nice pacing...guy is unique loner type, BUT STILL IS HUMANE AND EASY TO CONNECT WITH, and not a complete douche...more of a teasing type. The main character isn't annoying and is relate-able. She gets Sh*t done. Haha. And the side characters play a bigger role than in most manga so +1!

I find this manga to be very super cute.
It's a little slow and alittle annoying, but there are soo many manga's like that.

The main character goes through what all girls go through; meeting someone after a long time, and not just someone, someone she liked.
I've been there, and i can totally relate to her.

People may think "how is it possible, the main guy is such a jerk, i prefer the story between the girls" I don't think so though, girls can fall for jerks all the time, and i don't even see him as a jerk anyway.

The friendship between the girls is soo cute, reminds me of my friends, except with the difference that if we both liked the same guy, we would give up on him.
i mean we would still gush over him and flirt with him but never push it to try to develop a friendship.

Overall it's a good manga. Every time there is a new update i rush to read it [and am left unsatisfied wanting more!!!!] but definitely recommend it if you're looking for a simple (slow) school life, romance manga!

I only started reading this (still at Chapter 3 and still have the file open to continue reading after writing this comment xD) but while reading the first few chapters I couldn't help but think "IT'S REALLY CUTE!! <3" I really like the way the mangaka portrayed the main character. Definitely recommending this series. An adorable shoujo manga 😀

UPDATE: Just finished reading up to chapter 13 (current latest chapter). I'm gonna say it again... This manga is REALLY CUTE!!! I like it~ I guess it's partly because I can relate with both the main characters. I'm sorry but saying more would be a spoiler. If you like shoujo I think you'll like this, so what are you waiting for? Go! Lol 😀

I've cried reading this. Not cause I'm sad that it's so bad, but because it's so touching :').
Anyway, for most people, this isn't a cryin gmanga XD. It's just that, I'm in the same situation as the girl lead. C: And I was just surprised to see a manga with such a realistic character.

This manga is probably the most realistic one I've read. c: But it isn't CLOSE to boring! I LOVE IT SO MUCH. The main lead, Futaba, is an amazing person. She's kind, shy, doesn't like guys, and is actually a very strong character. c: The way she acts is similar to me, and I was so surprised when I read the first few chapters! I was like "HOLY CRAP I WOULD DO THAT. (and for some things, I HAVE done what she did xD)". She's just SO LOVEABLE.
And then Tanaka-kun. C: He's also amazing!!! They're both so cute when younger >3<!
I won't explain him older though. C: thats for you to find out ;}.!

ANyway.
GREAT ART. I loveloveloveloveloveloveloveloveloveloveit! C:
GREAT PLOT. The idea of the story is unique (people say it's cliche', o.o but it isnt. sure there's aspects in the manga that are "cliche" but I mean, in real life there are FRICKING TONS of that SHIZNIETS going on, MORE THAN IN MANGAS, so STOP COMPLAINING >:C )
Great CHARACTERS. They're all so cool and real! I mean, I wouldn't be surprised to meet people really like them 😀 (I actually have met people similar to them xD)

And ya. All of those things put together make this great story, c: and I think it'd be very unfortunate for you to dislike this. It's fantastic, and you're missing out if you don't read this!

It's still to early to decide but I'm hoping that Futaba remains a strong female lead and doesn't crumble all over the place for Kou. So far, the art is this manga's highest selling point. I'm not really as excited about the story, but again it's still early and I might end up loving this later.

first chapter had a promising start,the characters and the story as well. But when the next chapter started,it's like I was reading a different manga. Typical Heroine,who needed to be saved and encouraged by the very typical cold-but-kind-inside male lead. But I gave it another go and I dropped it. Both characters are annoying.

I really love this manga! I love how sakisaka io pays attention to the subtle details which make the manga come to life in a way that i think many other shoujos don't ever really get to. It's a story that really gets to you and i would definitely recommend this manga because it's one of my favourites at the moment! Her art is beautiful and her characters are lovely and though the story isn't a very complex one, its a very captivating read.
