honestly it felt like this mangaka wanted to max out the incest taboo to the max. I half expected Akira to move in with Kaoru's family and then come onto the real dad LOL.

anyways, the conflicts were mad shallow and the cheap plot development at the end made me roll my eyes. Good manga if incest is your thing, I guess, but it doesn't even make a good twisted manga. Meh.

only the end sucks. I didn't like it.
the plot was kinda good at least for me it was and the art style was great.

I love this uke he was just doing what he want it.. like "okay you don't want to pay attention to me, then just watch me!" lol I love him he's wild. good done akira. good done!
okay I hate his uncle/father he was just running away from the situation (I'm into incest) but the other one was so cute ugh... everything was ruined at the end. what was that? I totally hate it.
where's my happy ending? where?

Yes I am totally into twisted stories, especially incest (in fiction, just a clarification), and of course the corresponding consequences that the people involved will have to face. The controversiality will really grab your attention as to how does this story even flow, although if you are a seasoned reader of manga or if you've watched too much anime, you'd really develop strong guessing skills.

I love how the story flowed and ended, in fact it is good that the ending isn't as definite as it would be. Although yes, I would have loved it much much more if the story wasn't too rushed.

And it's a bad idea to read this in the wee hours of the morning (way past bedtime I mean). Much as I wanted to scream at every important event/revelation, I just couldn't. Also is the fact that I'm emotionally shaken, I don't know if I'll fall asleep. But it's not like I hate that. In fact emotionally shaking works are my favorite.

Be warned that, yes, this is twisted and dark and incest is the main theme.
At the same time, it has its weirdly sweet moments.

This would have been so much better if given even just one more volume. There are so many great twists and emotions to explore, but with one volume they just aren't given room to grow and we get none of the aftermath.

I actually don't have anything against twisted stories, provided that the pacing and development don't feel like they come out of no where and throw me off. For this particular manga, I do like the idea that the author had in mind, but her execution perhaps wasn't the best possible outcome from the initial brainstorming. And the ending is just too rushed and kinda 'lazy' imo, just to resolve the conflict of a love triangle.

I wish the mangaka had reached that conclusion in a more persuasive way so that the audience could accept it with more ease. I do think that the ratings for this title here in MU are a bit unfair though, it's definitely still above average for the most part.

This a a nice dark story with a lot of twisted emotions. Very nice. Some things are left ambiguous, but that's good too. Overall a good story if you you like the darker side of the human condition.

Well, you've been warned ! This is not a happy story, not one page.
And I think that explains the general low rating (and the incest theme as well maybe). But ! A sad story is not necessary a bad story. I can't say I enjoyed it, but I was stuck to it for sure. I was feeling so much pain for the characters, all of them, for not being able to move on and getting trapped in their past. For sure, they made wrong choices, but could they have done otherwise, given the emotions they were facing ? It really left me heart-wrenched, but I don't regret reading it, it was worth it. What I really liked here is that even though they have twisted feelings, they know it and that torture them, even if it can't make them stop.
On the negative side, the story of each character is not enough detailed for my taste. And I Would have prefered a more concise ending.
So, if you are ready for a hopeless, tragic, and twisted but well-writen story, then give it a go !
