Dropped...

Needs trigger warnings for SA. The MCs are unlikable, the art is not my cup of tea, and I can see where the drama is going and I'm not looking forward to it at all...

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Nope. I had to quit pretty soon when Kurata raped Tozaki. Tozaki said no several times and Kurata forced him, and that equals rape. I don't care how jealous the idiot was. Not my type of thing at all.

It's too bad, because I like some of this author's other work (Dear Green and such), which so far as I remember (I read it a while ago and couldn't find a couple chapters) has none of that.

I just can't buy that a couple is at all good for each other if one of them rapes the other. It bothers me too much. And I'm sad because I was hoping not to find that here. I get tired of that all over BL manga.

I'm not going to rate this because I only got to the beginning of chapter four (which is when the rape occurs). The rest may be fine, but I can't really get over it.

Another masterpiece by Fujiyama Hyota sensei

This is the type of manga that just draws you in so much that you cannot stop reading.
It's the kind of story that stays interesting from start to finish and manages to keep you at the edge of your seat, wanting to know what'll happen next.
It's got all that, while being a very down-to-earth, normal story of ordinary and realistic people.
The characters feel so real that you won't even think about how they are just manga figures, no, they're real people.
This is a story of high school crushes, first love and reunion. Not knowing what to expect because over the 10 years they didn't see each other, they changed.
It's about unexpressed feelings and the pain it brings not being able to bring them across to the person you care for.
I love the simple-ness of the story and the way it's portrayed; the story flow and story-telling are first class.
It might be a slow romance, feelings-wise, but since they start out a little bit different, you'll not get any sex shortages. Instead, you'll get both, smutty, steamy scenes AND a lot of heartfelt romance with a slow building love story.
This is all about character growth, watching as the characters slowly warm up to one another, looking at the expressions they make... there's no gigantic, epic plot or anything, it's all about two men who meet each other, what they do and how they react to it, and for me personally, that's one of the the best yaoi plots out there. I'm a fan of story that revolved just around the lives of the two protagonists, without Hollywood movie plots.

Something on the side: about the art. Fujiyama Hyota sensei is one of those mangaka who have almost flawless anatomy drawing skills, something that a whole lot of professional mangaka have problems with. You won't find many mistakes at all and especially the hands! She is just the master of realistic, manly hands. Most mangaka aren't that great with hands (and feet).
If you enjoy the way she draws faces on top of that, then this is a really great artistic experience (like all her manga)!

Recommended to everyone, especially people who want a little more that just plain smut, and people who really enjoy those secret crush, reunions. friends become lovers kinds of stories.
You can't go wrong here!

As Expected of this Mangaka

First, i must admit to being slightly biased in favour of the author - i've enjoyed all her works to date and this has been no exception. First of all, as always, the art is excellent. Its clean, the panel placings are easy to follow and theres a nice balance between art and dialogue. The next point are the characters. They have depth and you can clearly feel their personalities, but at the same time there are questions left unanswered - this, of course, proving to hook the readers just as much as the storyline. Finally, the story itself. I can't ask for more. The relationship development and history is interesting and doesn't bore you, there are plot points that are obvious but also many subtle points that casually cause tension. There are also enough unanswered questions chapter to chapter to keep you wanting more. So far there are 11 chapters released and available in english, and i've not been disappointed. I'm looking forward to the rest. Overall i have to give this series 9/10

This is by far one of my favorite yaoi (along w/Love Mode). I adore everything about it - the art, the characters, the story, and the reality and truthfulness of what the characters are going through.

Yes, the BL scenes are excellent, but I felt that there was a plot to go along with those scenes, so it didn't just feel like gratuitious sex to be waded through (and yes, there is a ton of yaoi that is all fan service so it's nice to have some actual story to make you anticipate the fun stuff).

The seme could be a jerk, and there's the typical lack of communication between the seme and uke, but I think that the mangaka did a good job of showing their growing relationship and it definitely kept me interested and entertained, which to me is the sign of good writing.

It looks like as of now it's still ongoing (I know that the site I read from hasn't had a new chapter for ages) so I am eagerly anticipating finding out what's going to be happening to this great couple.

As with other works by Fujiyama, I really enjoyed reading this. It's definitely my favorite *ever*-- not limited to just Fujiyama's series. The sultriness of the series (like rymara commented), the angst, complex feelings, and, yes, some light-hearted moments, too... geez, I've just fallen in love with it all.

I loved Dear Green and Okujou Fuukei and now I love this one too. It's great how Fujiyama Hyouta takes us into the turmoil along with the main character. I love this mangaka and wouldn't expect anything else. I hope Junjou continues to volume 3.

I'd recommend this to readers who like a more adult read with humor and a sultry kind of sexy to it. Personally I'm adicted to this artists works. also Bliss does list this as being complete on thier site.
