The main character is... brain dead. Chapter 52 is his stupidest moment. I literally facepalmed and that's not an exaggeration. It's not really a spoiler because... well, it has no foreshadowing or real relevance to the plot. The protagonist finds a demonic book. It takes him to a demon. The demon is like "Hey I'll grant you a wish." And the moron character (MC for short) decides "I'll wish for generic unspecific power without talking terms or asking questions". It's so incredibly stupid.

But that's just the crowning peak of stupidity. There are tons of other moments, like the time he decides to do illegal hunting to pay the debt collectors back when they cheat him by raising the interest. He chose to break the law when they broke the law... rather than just threaten them with his newfound superpowers to get them to not break the law.

The demon thing also is one of the weakest plot "twists"; it goes from "a story about a person growing stronger through their own effort" to one where anytime he suffers a bad matchup he can instantly just summon some demon and win overwhelmingly.

TLDR: Good beginning but at chapter ~50 or so you wanna start smacking the MC upside the head because he is making stupid decisions. Sooo… don’t waste your money on this one.

As @neoquicksilver, I also couldn't stand it after ch52, thou in my case, what happens there was just the last straw.
For me the problem of the manhwa is that in every other chapter there is something that's off, that doesn't make sense, or is poorly explained, is dumb, etc. they are small things but they pile up and get annoying, then by ch 52 the MC acts like an idiot out of nowhere just to force an event and the plot to go in a new direction. This are flaws in the storytelling ability of the writer imo.
That aside, the story is the overused "portals appear on earth" setting. The MC is a porter trying to pay his father's medic bills while struggling with loan sharks and surviving his job. Can't be more cliche, but it's readable. From there it's the classic awakening, and laying low because... plot, people trying kill him and others trying to cause trouble for him. All done sloppily, but not terribly so. From there I'm not sure since I dropped this.
The characters are rather lacking, the MC is not the smart kind, he's a rather normal fellow in many aspects, but he's the kind of person that doesn't think or question things, he gets duped and taken advantage oftenly and his one redeeming factor is that he has guts and principles. The there's the Gramps, that is a sort of joker to save the MC in several situations, he's the only cool guy in the story but his actions sometimes don't fit the narrative. The rest are either pieces of sh*t, hypocrites or get little scene time.
Pace is rather good and art is decent.
Overall, it's a somewhat mediocre story but too incongruent for my taste, so rather bad as a whole. May be more worthwhile for people who don't question so much the narrative and are looking more of the hunters on earth setting.

It was kinda stereotypical for a minute but then all of a sudden around chapter 50, the author decides to do a power-up in the stupidest way. Instead of using the system that became established or the elements of being a hunter goes full demonic troupes out of nowhere. No build-up at all. Author barely describes the system itself or why the awakenings happened already as is. MC dense as he is just . Completely off the rails.

The story would be somewhat decent if the MC wasn't so painfully dumb. Not to mention a doormat most of the time.

It's good. Not very good, not bad, not average. Story is paced well with am mc that is plain all hearts and no brain. He has that much power and doesn't test the limit but oh well. Art is bland... Nothing special. It's only the world setting and good pacing that gives it that little edge.

I'm only 40 chapters in and I find this quite interesting. Once again it's a world invaded by monster but some people get powers to fight them. And with the world normalised, people "awakened" are hunters who go and hunt these creatures for money and resources, hence the name.

The MC isn't op not get op that quickly like Solo Leveling, there's no dungeon and he isn't the most clever character, but he has experience being a porter and have seen the inner evil of hunters and people, so it can be quite dark. I'm interested why the creatures invaded Earth and what the MC will become. There might be plot armour, but hey, who doesn't in Manga and Manwha?

Another of the many mass made Korean web comics that forces an explanation on game mechanics. At least the monsters have quite a variety.

I don't really understand why they waste so much amo, the author uses it to keep the dynamism, but I bet the author doesn't even think about it and just copies badly done war movies.

the MC is all heart and no brain.. so most likelly you will like the world, yet hate the MC idiocy.. A LOT! He just acts' no planing, no foresight, the only reason he dosn't dies is plot armor.
