Although I've only read a few of Hwang Mi Ri's manhwas, I feel that this one was the only one that didn't eventually blur into one big general plotline with the rest of her manhwas. It definitely had comedy going for it and as the story went along it got easier to get hooked. Also, pretty traditional clothing 🙂 pro for anything.
That said, I will admit I took something like a 6 month break from this manga near the start because the plot just wasn't really moving and I restarted reading around chapter 65 - by then the plot had by far improved.
Another flaw was the lack of characters with depth. The guys all seemed to be waaaaaaaaaay too obsessed with Bia (sometimes borderline psychotically so) who in turn seemed to go through phases of being strong character, then weak character then strong character and then ends up in between the two?
For example, Mu-yeong is probably the best example of this. Fine, he was a womanizer and then falls deeply in love with Bia - they spend time together, he falls deeper in love, he goes off giving his countries secrets to her. Cute (well kind of). Then he goes and captures her and tortures her and makes her watch her love's nerves get chopped...O_O
When you look at the big picture, all you can wonder is how none of the characters just decided they had enough of her childish, bratty and rude behavior and just executed her. xD
The ending was also very 'meh'. It felt rushed and spontaneous considering the rest of the plot. But well, it was a dramatic ending I suppose.
But overall, it was likeable 🙂
