Some people are saying that the FMC can't be honest with her feelings but that's what a tsundere is..😕 Ain't that the way tsuderes behave? BTW later on when the MC pushes her, she sometimes takes the lead and starts to get honest with her feelings... So pretty good and one of my favorite shoujo mangas... Totally recommended👍
This guy has HOT pheromonal action oozing in every panel. He's like the male MC from Stroke Material plus Kaichou wa maid sama (as a LOT of tsukkomus will tell you) and Kei from Special A. Meaning he is besotted but collected but devious yet charming still a little bit rakish and.... Ohh I could go on!
And the heroine is very fun as well. Very kuudere, very collected, very committed to staying collected at all times too.. and when someone comes along and tries to drive her up the wall... well you can see her reaction in the cover art can you not!
Superbly paced school-life romance to enjoy with an occasional sprinkling of over the top humor which keeps you hooked.
Argh! I'm at chapter 18 (with mangalator) and tbh I can't believe the audacious (and panty droppingly hot) things he does considering they haven't started "Dating" yet.
I stopped reading after a while, but definitely a good standard shoujo manga. I really enjoyed reading about a cool female lead, though the cool factor does decrease along the way. Also unfortunate, the story uses cliches to stretch the length. Would have been great if they kept it short and sweet, so I could reread and enjoy.
So far you have a cool female lead who, is well, as the tags says. She's not cold per, se, but more rational, kinda like the main girl (forgot her name- Shizuku?) from Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun. The male lead is your typical arrogant-ish guy who seems to see right through her. For once, you also see a female lead that says
"oh gosh/[crap]" when he confesses to her!
This has potential, I just hope she doesn't lose too much of her coldness as the story progresses or starting to get the blushy thing like many shoujo gals that were awesome before, but have resulted to.
I started this when I was a teen a finished it when I was an adult. I can't say the same stories that appealed to me then still appeal to me now.
It's a cliched read but fun if you're into expressionless capable leads. I do wish Yuki gained more confidence throughout the series but it's something lighthearted you can get into.
I rated this manga a 10 because I loved the series and would love to reread the entire thing as it’s now complete. However, there were times when the conflict was unresolved and the author didn’t do their best. BUT this is still such a great manga that I would reread time and time again because of the love and character development between the two characters. It even starts as shoujo and turns into slightly mature.
Picked this up after L_DK, thought it was similar with 2 main leads. Oh boy! They are nothing alike! Just finished chapter 33, when they finally agree to say the L word. How do I feel? Totally baffled, this manga is so weird. The FMC talked to herself too much, 70-80% of the manga up to this point is she talk to herself! I feel this acceptance of going out is somewhat unearned. The MC doesn't do much to earn that much love from FMC, he borders sexual harassment and has super predatory behavior upon an inexperienced, confused female lead. MC is not even nice to people around him. Will try to read the rest of the chapter but up till now, the set-up for this manga has been totally unconvincing to me.
Up to chapter 48 now. This is probably the most slow-burn manga I've ever read! The first 8 volumes have incredibly slow pacing. I have a feeling this is a masochistic manga that full of monologues by the female MC! If it's not for the art style, I would have dropped this manga already. Hopefully, it gets more interesting from volume 9 on.
Stubborn female leads are good but I hate it when they do nothing but avoid a guy stalking you for 31 chapters. Seriously, enough is enough. You either go out with him or you don't.
