But it's not all bad for a smut, you know. It's sweet, sexy and cute. The art is wonderfully drawn and the characters are pretty. If you have read 'Kiss/Hug' or 'Hana ni Arashi', this manga revolves around nearly the same plot: rich boy falls in love with a girl of average standard or worse. Though, the smut content is a little bit more over the top and there is more drama impact compared to the other two that i mentioned. Groping? YES. THAT nearly took over 95 % of this manga but you can't complaint over it. You decided to pick it up and read it. This sort of manga is labelled under SMUT. It's crystal clear. However,I just could not stand the heroine... Well since she is the typical heroine of smut manga, the Mangaka tend to create a female character who is very vulnerable, easily influenced and weak (spiritually, mentally or physically). This made the manga all the more cliche and boring. Anyway, for those who don't mind super smut doki doki moments and fast-paced romance, this manga is recommended.

A wondeful manga

I remember reading this manga a long time ago...about 2-3 years ago? Though I thought it was called million dollar girl,(Totally different managa lol) So my review may be a little rusty, but I remember the main point of it. Basically poor girl meets rich boy and he throws money at her, takes her with him to live in his ridicously rich mansion as a maid I believe. He keeps pulling advances on her and she very SUBTLY refuses him. She slowly regains her memories which she has lost that were all about him. And voila they are in love! and of course a whole bunch of other crap ensues to tear them apart. This manga was REALLY good I mean it got pretty mediocre at some points, especially with the antagonists. But the romance was sweet, the designs were amazing, the couple were beautifully drawn. I just loved when the prince took of his glasses! lol It had a pretty good ending and left you either feeling satisfied or wanting more. I really recommend this!

=_=; Huuu? I thought it was good so far....even if some of the plot seem crazy and random. The girl not at dumb at ALL or week, like some other manga.

Girl's fall in love with the guy or sleep with him right away once they confess that they like each other. Instead it's a manga finally a girl refused to sleep with him and tell him that just because he confessed that he loved her does not mean they should sleep together right away. She tells him "No." she stands up to him saying she not ready for that and he learns and I think that is great! (at the start) Also she not all crazy about dating the Prince even since she knew him when he was little. Sure he tries to get her and seem abusive...but I have seen WAY worse manga out there then this if you think he almost did that to her =_=. She act wayyy more mature i think then some other manga I have read of girls. Again I like how she does not fall for him easily. I like this. They develop in the relationship type thing...even though it not perfect. I don't dislike it and the the learn to change a bit. I don't think it's that bad and confusing. Even with the crazy plot, it add suspense to know what might happen next and how will they solve the problem, I thought it was good and i keep reading to know what happen next.

Last I like the art style a lot, it make the girl look a bit more mature.

Well it's really up to each person who read this story. I thought it was good.

I've read a lot of manga, but I think this is the only one I'd really consider awful.

First off, the plot is just a mess. It makes absolutely no sense most of the time, and is more like a bunch of random dramatic ideas strewn together with no consideration for keeping any sort of flow or pacing. I still don't understand the part where the female lead was going to be like his mother and teach him a lesson? That dissolved pretty fast though when other drama started, and it was just never mentioned again. I kept reading just to see if it got better, but every time one thing was about to wrap up, a new crazy thing got thrown into the mess.

Second, the characters are all annoying. I honestly have no idea how the female lead falls in love with the male lead. I don't think he's nice to her even once, and tries to literally rape her on multiple occasions (only succeeds in molesting her). The brother is annoying beyond all reason and his actions don't make sense to me, since they were siblings for the first 14 some years of his life. And none of the characters have any consistence at all in how they react to situations. Makes no sense.

And if you're reading for smut, it's not even great for that. Most of the smut consists of him trying to rape her, or at the very mildest more or less forcing himself on her once they're together.

I suppose the only redeeming fact is the art, and I did keep reading painfully to the end. So I'll give a 4/10, but unless you're really really bored, find something better!

...it went downhill after a few chapters. The first part about the Prince buying Mio and then it turns out they're childhood friends are okay but after that, the story becomes confusing and doesn't even make any sense anymore. It keeps jumping from one issue to another without letting that part develop more or for the characters to grow. In short, It. Doesn't. Make. Any. Sense. Until. The. End. I finished the story because of the smut, art and just for the sake of finishing it. Other than that...meh.

Good beginning but later...

Well, I first read when Shoujomagic first released... it brings back memories.
In the first two volumes, it was enticing, intriguing and smutty. And we're drawn to this mysterious rich guy and why he acts that way.

Later, it's as if the mangaka's editor is rushing her [dateline (that's just my guess)]... and so... it's as if the mangaka changed her original plot; so the story became worse.

In my opinion, it didn't come great coz it's as if the mangaka was not so focused. In other words, the manga could have been better.

Okay, I may sound harsh but this is one of the worst mangas I have read till date! I didn't like the characters. The heroine was dumb, the main guy, that prince, was a jerk! And that entire 'sibling' twist that was brought into the story was crap. The only reason why I have rated it 5/10 is because of the art. The art was good.

I thought the plot was interesting enough at first, but the more I've been reading, the more painful it has been to continue. Like others have mentioned already, there are a million and one cliches in the story and there's nothing particularly redeeming about the plot line. The characters personalities are incredibly shallow, and it's hard to care about them because of that. The smut doesn't have much to offer, so I wouldn't pick this manga for that reason. The art is okay, but nothing spectacular or unique...

Update: So I've been continuing to read it, and I think I'd probably retract my comment about the smut. But the STORY. My goodness, I agree with every person who has said that it is just sloppy and haphazardly put together. There's one huge development after the other with no time for the characters to develop well and the reader to make sense of any of it. I want to finish it for the sake of finishing it, but this can be tough to sit through if you're looking for a good plot.

I don't understand how people can give this a high score. It started out good but went downhill almost immediately. Characters are all shallow and simple with no depth, very one dimensional and plot is all over the place with no clear direction. Art alone is not enough to save a manga.

if you're looking for some good mindless shoujo smut, this is the place. it's "better" than a lot of smut around because it was able to sustain some type of plotline, AND because it rolls over on nearly all the romance cliches: master-servant, megane (glasses guy), childhood friends, even forbidden incest.
though the characters are ridiculously shallow compared to any serious romantic work, the whole series was able to survive for 7 volumes for a well reason.
