It's been a while since I read a story about apocalypse. I don't really like apocalyptic story, since usually it's depressing. It involves too many death and huge sacrifices and agony. Like Attack on Titan. Many of them didn't end well, like Evangelion.
This one actually included as those kind of apocalyptic stories. On the recent chapters, the main characters were all murdered. Even on previous chapters, many died and even sold their dignity just to be able to survive. The different thing is, fortunately Hanzin was able to travel in time through dreams. That way, he can change the future. Even though it was as devastating too, since he also couldn't maintain a steady relationship. Every time he woke up, the future changed, even slightly. He even experienced loosing his friends and so on. But this ability brings forth a change factor, and it's good.
This manga was great with mysteries surrounding the revenant, demon hunters, Mystic Hong, and so on. The mysteries have not been revealed from the recent translation, but I can't wait.
I love how the author's taking it slowly (in my opinion) on revealing who the revenant was, or even the background story about Hanzin as a revenant successor. The author's taking it slowly, but nicely. Sometimes there are dragging plot in many kinds of manga/manhwa I've read, but I don't think this one included. Every time Hanzin travel back in time, he invested little by little so everyone in the future are safe. And the step by step process was not dragging, but necessary for the plot development.
The art itself isn't really good/detailed, but the plot is great that I think I can overlook it. I can't wait for the next chapter release.
