8 Volumes (Complete)

Nose bleeding head over heels in love boy who is an all powerful mage. Big busted easy girl who is an all powerful weapon. If the art was a little bit different---say they were less chibi and more realistic---this would be every shonen manga ever made.
The two leads are cute. But all chibi is cute. Still waiting for their characters to develop as of chapter 5.
its really touching this manga, i really like it... i wonder if i would fall in love if i was starving to dead in the streets and a girl my age gave me something to eat... O.o... i hope that this manga gets lots and lots of chapters so i can enjoy a sweet fantasy romance manga =O
I love this manga so much! I've been reading it since the first 5 chapters came out.. This manga is really cute, I love the art (( cuz im into chibi like things for some reason o3o' )) the story is actually really interesting. But the thing I hate the most, is how it seems like it's going to end.. I want it to kinda be like Bleach and how it goes on for a long time (( but not as long cuz tht'll b a total waste, but for like a couple of years or so )) some people say its more aimed at girls or it seems girly.. I don't think that at all, cuz all of the scenes with Emma being like well idk mostly naked xD and she has huge boobs (( how is tht not shounen xDDD )) and all the fighting and what not, its pretty freakin shounen to meh.. i hope it goes on for a long long time ;D
Like a lot of other people said, this is a light, charming, somewhat romantic series, and I'm surprised it's a shounen. I'm not exactly sure how long it'll last, though, with it's cute chibi art and catering to a more female demographic.
I wouldn't go into it looking for a long-running, on-going shounen story, like Bleach or what-have-you. Magico is a light and kind of airy thing that's like a feel-good read at the end of a long day. It's a little episodic, but so far I haven't really minded, because they do tend to feel like they're advancing something at the same time.
I could criticize the art a little. I don't really appreciate chibi at the best of times, and having main characters that looked a little more their age would be nice. I almost feel kind of dirty during Emma's semi-nude scenes, and I'm a girl to begin with.
Take it for a little shoujo/shounen crossover fun while it lasts. It's a cute, sweet series and I kind of hope it'll last a while longer.
I loooove this manga ;D.. i've been reading it since it came out, and im still hooked 2 it ^^ every chapter has made me laugh there's not one yet tht hasnt. But right now im kinda wavering to another manga cause i have a feeling tht Magico is going 2 end soon and i dont want it to end for a long long time T^T.. but it would b friggin awesome if it became a anime, it would probably b the best anime ever, i hope it dosent end anytime soon because im obviously in love with it xD but i rly do hope they make a anime for it even if they dont this manga will b my top favorite!~
A lot of people say that this series is pretty cliche, but I tend to disagree. It's actually pretty a-typical for a shounen series. Aside from the overall goal of "Save his wife", there is nothing else going on to the plot. So far there have been no major rivals introduced, most of the bad guys are taken care of in 2-3 chapters, and there doesn't appear to be an evil organization out to get him and destroy the world. The whole thing feels episodic without actually being slice of life.
The art is pretty clean and it's also nice to look at. The artist seems to be a little toner heavy, but that's not a problem for me as the liberal use of thick lines and darker colors for contrast add a nice feel to the series without making things messy.
As far as the characters go, even though they appear to be pretty shallow at first, some of the information coming out in regards to them as the series progresses actually adds some nice layers to them. That statement doesn't hold true to all of the characters though, some of them are in fact very shallow, but they serve the purpose of making sure the story moves forward in interesting ways, so I can forgive it.
All in all, I'd suggest giving the series a try, but I wouldn't read go into this thinking it's going to be a 40-50 volume epic. Unfortunately, as entertaining as this series is and as much potential as it has, it has the feel of a series that will probably be killed as it has some parallels to a few other series I've liked that Japan has nuked.
this manga is good.... that's all!! the characters are cute... the plot is good as well... and the emotional development is well done by the mangaka... I don't know why people don't like this manga but I want this manga to keep continuing until the end
This manga is cute and charming. Not many shounen manga go along the lines of "true love conquers all" anymore. It's nice to read something that takes you back to the old days of hopes and dreams. Good story too, definitely worth the read.
This practically THE BEST wsj release I've read! What other reasons are there but the interesting art, plot, character, EVERYTHING. Highly recommended!!!!! It's just the beginning of a new series, yet I just can't help but wonder what else is left in store for us.
well the first chapter quite promising, with fresh idea of magic and romance mmm...
there are some interesting part that can turn into flaw at the story mmm...
1st, the main hero is a bit too strong just at the first chapter mmm...
the main chara said to be one of the strongest magician, while usually WSJ heroes start from being "a bit normal but strong" and grow with time, but we still don't really know his true strength mmm...
2nd, there is already a marriage at the first chapter, so the romance will be packed in someway new in WSJ (as far as i know), but it can also hard to be expanded by the mangaka mmm...
so, for now i give it 9/10 (it's normal-good for me) mmm...
