This was adorable! It was light and sweet. However, it does carry traces of heavier themes like discrimination (through the division of carnivores and herbivores) and both MC and ML were/are victims of it at some point, although it doesn't go super in depth into it. What I really appreciated is that, though the fear of a herbivore living amongst carnivores is very present, it's not used as a set up for the sexual assault on the uke trope. There is one instance of kind of assault, but that was accidental and not sexual in nature.
What really makes this manga is its characters. They are all very endearing and surprisingly not flat. Yagi's ability (I won't spoil what it is) is also a good concept, it sure makes things interesting!
There were some cliches, but I like my cliches when they're well executed, which is the case here.
The art is also really good and adorable. Sensei managed to make the animal ears look good and natural, which doesn't happen often imo.
The only thing that makes me a little sad is that as far as I remember, we never learn Ookami-san's first name, but that's just me. Also, it's not as pure as it looks, this is not a shounen ai.
I'm definitely checking out this mangaka's other works and I'm actually considering buying the physical manga at some point.
