this manga is very gentle to the soul, with warm messages even though sometimes reality can be painful. the art is quite sub par, however the sketchy art do contribute to the light but deep atmosphere. reminiscent of natsume book of friends, a good read and a shame its short.

This series of stories is really heart warming. Each has its own message and somewhat happy ending. The stories themselves are very intriguing but are very short. A lot have the theme of 'something is not as it seems at first' which adds to the curiosity of the plots. It's almost a shame the series is so short, I wouldn't of minded some more fleshed out tales and even more insight into the main character and his relationship with his friend and parents and home country.
