Tenshi na Konamaiki (or the English version "A Cheeky Angel") is a very good comedy manga. Some people thinks it's controversial, since the story is about a boy who has been changed to a girl, while his mind of a boy has never changed. Well, that's until you have read near the end of the manga, and you will know it's less controversial than it is (I think it's a very clever move of the author). Even you haven't read till the end of the story, I think it's still appropriate and not controversial at all, since Megumi is physically a 100% girl (Pierrot's magic) and have feelings of a teenager girl and can blushes like a girl and who'can be impressed like a girl by the "heroic deeds" by her male friends like Genzo, Fujiki etc..
Anyways, I never thinks Megumi (the protagonist of the story) is very manly, since she claimed to be a guy; she's in my opinion more a "magnified" tomboy; Megumi actually remind me alittle of Mahiru Suruga (Peridot, an action/martial art/ecchi seinen manga, which is less suitable for the younger readers). Megumi and Mahiru Suruga are both skillful martial artists and are very beautiful. She also got a pervert father who like watching beautiful girls, but Mahiru Suruga's father sometimes shows his usefulness and his martial skills as a skillful martial artist/wrestler in the story, while Megumi's father is only for comical purposes in the manga.
Anyway, this one manga is one you can not miss if you like comedy manga. The art is good and at times very cute (e.g. when Megu and Genzo are together); the story is interesting, actually I keep telling me: "Megumi, don't change back to a guy!" Also I find it very funny when Megumi tries to be a guy while she doesn't know how to do that and keep asking advices from Miki, Megumi's best female friend. And when Megumi acts like a girl, clumsily she tries to find some excuses why she acted like that. Very funny and hilarious (and cute)!
I have seen the anime but I think the sub is not consistent and would cause some misunderstanding and can cause only more confusions for the storyline. I would say read first the manga and then watch the anime for a better understanding of the story.
