From Aerandria Scans:
Our protagonist, Hikaru, is a member of the astronomy club at her school. On one beautiful starry night, she encounters a tall boy with blonde hair that looks almost white. However, he turns out to be...?!

one of the few mangas i gave full points. Art, story all of them superb. Read it even if you are not into shoujo. One exeption for this may be tragedy haters, for all the series i waited as if some big tragedy will happen at the next page but unexpectedly there is no tragedy (as you can see at the tag) but the main heroine is so happy go lucky type you wait for a big boulder to fall from the sky and kill all her loved ones lol
Refreshing, simple, a breath of fresh air; her works always manage to be different from the average shoujo. Having said that, while different, Sora Log is still average. I enjoyed reading it, but this one just didn't have enough to make it passed "average" to me. There was a lot of foreshadowing of a "mysterious past" that wasn't horrible or all that dangerous. It was hyped up a bit too much for me, and felt quite cliched.
I liked the characters; they all had something about them and their motivations were sound. The Big Bad knew, as another person said, when to give up, and the drama was all very understated and mellow. Hikaru believed in Asou, and she was proactive about situations; when she felt "distant" she told him so instead of just trying to blindly continue on alone, which was rather nice. Overall, a nice read, "different" from the average shoujo but still "average".
As always, another beautifully done story. I really love this mangaka´s works, there are "in one word": TOUCHING! Simply putting it: sweet stories, beautiful art, interesting plots, and great character growth.
Recently, I´ve grown to be interested in the beauty of the sky and my surroundings. And so I understood Hikaru´s happiness while taking photos of the sky, while gazing at the sky, the stars, the clouds...this kind of things are amazing, because you experience the same thing as the character, you somehow understand his feelings, that makes the whole "reading manga" experience more deep 😀
I also think, that it would be perfect to listen to a "piano soundtrack" while reading the manga, that makes it more realistic. it would feel more realistic.
While reading the oneshot, I was listening to "Finally Now" from SNSD (Girls Generation). It matched so perfectly. As well as "For Fruits Basket"; "Sin Banderas - Contigo" and "Bokura no Jikan" match perfectly with Sora Log,
Could hardly believe it - a shoujo manga exists that manages to avoid frustrating me in the same way most other typical shoujos do.
The heroine was great, the evil character knew when to give up and a nice bit of mystery to keep you reading too!
Just when I was thinking 'oh no, the mangaka's gone and done that,' I turned a page or so and realised that no, they hadn't done what I was expecting and I was pleasantly surprised.
For impressing me so, it gets a 10.
I recommend 🙂
Story: 7/10 Good, had a few enjoyable twists and was a great story for what it was trying to accomplish. It focused on the emotional side of Hikaru and Asous relationship which was enjoyable. It was nicely paced and had a nice ending to it.
Characters: 6/10 They are simplistic and cliche but they do fit the story. The mangaka did well with motivation and their behavior was explained.
Art: 4/10 Im not going to lie, its kind of terrible. The anatomy and symmetry is completely off in some of the panels. The style is okay and I dont know that anyone will notice if they havent studied.
I was about 16 when this series first started scanlating and loved it. It was one of the few of hers I had read that did not contain sex which I was very grateful for at the time. Unfortunatly it took nearly 4 years to completely scanlate and I ended up growing out of the story. It began losing its appeal around 18 so I cant rate it higher due to that. In conclusion, great for teenagers, not so much for adults.
When I started reading this series I really liked it, and while in the end I still enjoyed the story, it was not an overly emotional, powerful or deep story. It's cute, and sweet, and an enjoyable read and shoujo fans will enjoy the piece.
Plot- The plot starts out the normal bad boy and cute girl. There's a little bit of mysterious background mixed in, and some family drama that really adds to the story and makes it unique and interesting. Asou's family and past are what keep this story from being the normal innocent girl falls in love with bad boy.
Characters- Pretty normal characters at first. But throughout the story Asou was wonderfully developed and fleshed out. He breaks the bad boy mold with reasons for his rebelliousness, and a sweet side that is misunderstood. He's not really rude or mean, just gruff. Asou becomes quite a unique character with many of his own struggles that are worked out throughout the story. Hikaru and the rest of the cast are, in my opinion, not bad characters but not especially great either. Asou makes this story.
Art- The artwork was all right, a little big at times, but not bad.
Other- Toward the end of the story I got a bit annoyed. I won't spoil anything, but one plot point could have been wrapped up a bit better, with a more understandable ending that didn't seem rushed. The brother began to annoy me. But the whole story is quite good, and very sweet and I'd recommend it.
6/10 - Liked it
Yeah pretty good not a 10 but not below a 7 it was ok and the thing I liked was usually I hate short mangas but I decided to try this and although I rarely read short mangas the ones I have read always feel too quick and feel like there's something missing , but with this it didn't have any if those which was good . the reason why im giving it a seven is because i dont think this is anywherre near what i cosider to be a 10 with my other read mangas.
usually i can't get into love stories since a lot of them seem to be pretty predictable...but wow this one is amazing 🙂 When i read this i feel like it gives a warm aura. Reading this I just want to pick up Hikaru and hug her to death<3 Asou's a perfect guy for this story. On the outside he's a troublemaker and he seems mean but once you get to know him better he's so sweet and caring. He protects Hikaru like a knight in shining armor.
I love this series so fricking much!!!! <3 I adore all the artwork too 🙂 i'm so glad to have stumbled across this series 🙂
I really really really really really really really really really really really really really ... love this manga, it's so cute, so awesome, I really love it. The story is always surprising me. It's just so god that I don't have enough words to describe it. I simply adore all os Mitsuki Kako's works, but, Sora Log it's the one I love the most until now _______
If I could I would give an hiven higher score, this is to me the most cute story of all times 😀
