Magi Craft Meister (Novel)

Description

There is only one Magi Craft Meister in the world. After the death of the last Meister over one thousand years ago, Jin Nidou was transported to another world in order to succeed her will. After obtaining the knowledge of the Magi Craft Meister, Jin attempts to use a warp gate but it malfunctions, transporting him to an unknown world. Along with that, an automata he recently restored also uses the warp gate in order to search for her “father”. Thus, the crafting journey of the new Magi Craft Meister begins!

a little more depth than usual

Its not bad, in fact instead of the usual casual steam rolling OP protagonist do to the usual cliche villain, another factor is introduce which is creating modern comforts in a fantasy setting using magic which sets up much of the plot points an interaction in the story aka steam rolling villain.

This series started of interesting in that while the MC is yet another "transported to another world" character, he isn't given super OP powers or even any fighting skills. Instead he's been turned into a mechanical engineering genius who makes gadgets as well as androids who do all the OP stuff for him.

However, the plot quickly looses steam as the MC spent basically the entirety of volume 2 going through a routine of helping out one girl look after her siblings and make and sell stuff at the local flea market...umm what? Yeah sure volume 2 ended with some very minor drama involving the usual dickbag nobleman antagonist of such fantasy settings but when I think back to the months I waited for the chapters of Vol 2 to come out I can't help but feel cheated of my time. Gonna put this one on hold for a looong time and hope the later volumes are actually worth reading.

The MC just want to make things

It was a great novel at first
with the MC being drag and inherit an amazing power
with this and that MC became OP
with an interesting plot at first
then all of a sudden it disappear

Its feel like each volume focus on different plot with out having a main plot
Inventing this and that it became a novel just for the sake of inventing something
It was good at first when he created those girl but
Like I said as of now he is just focusing building his base and inventing your everyday appliances

It can be similar to Death March kara Hajimaru Isekai Kyusoukyoku (Novel)
but it has no impact and no character bonds, The mc is forever alone with his dolls
The MC just focus on its everyday life and there is nothing to look forward to.

Well Its a good read but that its all to offer

Volume 1 Spoiler

The 1st volume was really a good start but a very disappointing ending
He was just helping the village to improve by creating various everyday tools base on the modern world
There was good chemistry on characters
Everything was so promising but that was just a huge lie
After the end of volume 1
all characters introduce disappear
When you finish reading volume 1 you well ask what was the story for?
There was a plot or so I think but all mc did was create things

Volume 2 Spoiler

I no longer expect much so I wasn't that disappointed since I already expected the same ending as volume 1
As volume 2 ended the same pattern as volume 1
All the character introduce at volume 2 also disappeared
I was interested at volume 2 at first since there seem to be a love interest in MC part
but that to was just a lie for the girl MC help fall in love with a character that only appear at the end
Can't help but lol
What is the point of MC existence in volume 2? Volume 2 was all about helping the girl
and in the end the girl was left by MC and ended with another man
To make matter worse mc is planning to go to another place
with this pattern one can't help but don't expect much to volume 3

Volume 1 and 2 ending are similar so I no longer expect much on the next volume
there is no clear path on this novel

Hm it seems i will be the first to make a comment on this novel.

Ok so the novel has a typical start not bad by all means the way he kinda ends up leaving his Lab is a bit forced but otherwise the author would have been forced to give the mc a reason to go outside on his own(making for a very slow start so this is probally his solution).
So for the good points i would say read the story casualy its a simple story one were the author doesnt fear letting the mc run loose with his knowladge on advanced/modern tech creating things from the smallest thing like a rubber ball to the biggest thing -.- an mechanical being to help out the village.
As for the bad.
The food issue in the beginning is understandable but u would imagine that the atamaton that was looking for a succesor would have food ready or prepare the means to.
A lot of things are forced in this story but if u can ignore them its a good story to read.
A few examples no food/atamaton breaks down/he leaves thinking the automaton is broken so they seperate.
I have more better examples but that would spoil the story the ones i used are in the description of the story.
As for the last point and maybe the most important point the interaction between people in the novel isnt really deep i find this very regretable because it has a lot of potentional.
For instance if a person gos to some elementary school or lives at a orphanage he wont be able to have a situation were all the kids chase him while saying wait for me oni chan and the mc will be like ahaha ahaha tehehehe catch me if you can then they crash into him and are like i catched you yay this is just an example but its very shallow.
