Once a rich young master, Yuzuru hit rock bottom after his family went bankrupt. That was eight years ago. The butler who took care of him, Iwase, has since risen to the top. When Yuzuru learns of this, he returns in an attempt to make some quick cash. But Iwase sees a kid who is still his charge. He captures Yuzuru and locks the young master in what was once his own home. Now, Yuzuru must use every trick in the book to make Iwase realize that things have changed, that he is no longer the innocent child from years ago.

First couple: while the bottom is teasingly offering the top oral initially, the top becomes angry at the bottom for mentioning he has had sex with many men and rapes him.

Second couple: A flashback shows that the top realized the bottom liked him, and then forced him to have sex with him.

Can't believe I enjoy a weird story with toxic rs so much.
It's the first for me, it's the type of manga I would give 1 or 3 ranking at most bc I can't stand this much angest in a love story , I'm a big fan of simple love stories but idk how author makes them so fucked up but still managed to make it interesting and so so enjoyable. Hats off to author and her way of story telling. I can't put it down even for five minutes and read it so fast and in the end I wanted more lol
Yeah it's morally fucked up, which is part of story and I'm not here to support character actions but as a reader I enjoyed it and totally entertained by author work and that's what I care so much about a manga, enjoyed and never bored or annoyed , so hats off to her and her hard work.
I seriously enjoyed both story but if u are after a fluffy simple light story, it's not for you.

all i can say is that the art is really good. the execution is well done. it has this certain feeling to it that i usually find in phenomenal mangas. that cover as well, wow.

a broken child and his guardian

I loved it very much actually. The art was beautiful I love ogawa sensei style, very delicate and lovely.
The first story was so painful got me like hell, he's a broken child his parents forgot about him, he was leaving with abusive relative he ended up broken for the circumstances as a kid he needed to survive and his loyal butler was stuck in the past, both actually with big psychological problems. I loved it. I love meganes so he is my favorite Butler ever.
The second story ugh I don't like him.

The main story wasn't really to my liking, but I enjoyed the second story about the high schoolers a lot. It was only a two-shot, but it still expressed well the feelings of a person struggling with his feelings and accepting who you are.

The first story had some potential, could have been a really interesting story about two screwed up people

(I mean, not sure what is wrong with the butler but the other kid was definitely just using him to escape from reality and probably convincing even himself that he wanted to be with the butler because that made his situation easier... but... in the end we didn't get to see what he was thinking. It could be that his detachment is a sign of his mental illness or it could just be bad character development. Who knows.) but it was just bland... nothing. With no real conclusion.

The other story about students was clearly the better one. But.

I really hate rape being glossed over as nothing. Yeah, maybe Aki was in denial about his feelings, but "Stop." means just that. In the end his roomate never apologised.

So yeah... once again I was lured in by pretty art and let down by shoddy plot. And damn, because of the art I don't have the heart to go lover than 3 in my rating >.<

A Prisoner and his Butler and Two boys in Denial

This manga is very unique. It deals with a protagonist held against his will as a prisoner. The person who has him locked up is the family butler. The Butler appears shady, but add that factor to the protagonist's angsty past, and drama ensues. Definitely a strange relationship. The second story is also strange. Two boys living together as room mates, but a strange vibe is around them. The tension definitely builds up to become a bittersweet romance. Definitely a must read for those wanting relationships that are full of tension and angst.

I'm a great sucker for stories by Ogawa Chise. Her stories are dark and not very conventional, but that's what so awesome about them. She handles twisted in a very blatant yet simultaneously subtle way.

The main couple in the first story should not be held to normal standards. The uke is a traumatized individual who craves for companionship from someone who will love him unconditionally and the seme adores the uke so much that his whole life, his sole purpose, was to make the uke's wish come true. Any reader could call this first story trash without understanding the undertone of the manga. Ogawa created a highly imperfect setting with scarred characters who dealt with their issues in an extreme way, and she does it all perfectly with her subtlety.

The second story I believe exists in a setting that an average person may be more familiar with since unlike the first story there are no dark undertone, at least not more than the usual beyond the fluffy yaoi, and so the actions of the seme may be seem more extreme. He is an a$$hole, and yet because he's an-a$$hole-in-love he shoves the uke in his way, instead of being the sweet, understanding yaoi bf. Doesn't mean what he did was the right way to push the uke to accept his sexuality. The uke dealing with being gay was yet again Ogawa dealing with another issue in a subtle way.

Anyhow, I think these two stories were great. I loved the second story more just because I have a preference for school-life stories over master-servant stories, but this is something not to miss for yaoi readers who are tired of the usual fluffy stories.

Yes, this is a very strange manga but that is why I enjoyed it , very out of the ordinary. I enjoyed both stories and yes they are very very very dark!

By the way, I love Chise! I like anything she draws, her sex scenes are very steamy.

The first story seems...freaky. But not as much as the side story. I hated the side story mainly because the seme just got to flirt with other girls in front of the uke. Distracting themselves from the one they love or finding a "replacement" is stupid as hell. If I wanna be honest, I'll prefer the first story instead of the second one. I just find it disgusting when Chitose flirts with the other girls in front of Shuu just because Shuu can't accept him. It's a lowlife method to attract or get the other person's attention. If I'm Shuu, I wouldn't even want to date such person and ask for a room change immediately! The fact that Chitose chose such method to get Shuu's love, proves that he's a complete lowlife. Imagine the person you love do this to you in front of you. Makes you mad isn't it?
