Well, this is a hard one. I read this when I was 19, I think (26 now), and though I was too shy and clever to act on these feelings, I think I still was under the charm of "bad guys" - because I can't explain why I loved this manhwa so much if that was not true. What I loved about this were humor, Mookyul and emotions (especially Ewon's progression). Right now... I still found it humorous, but not as funny as before. I found Mookyul to be too aggressive and intimidating, too uncivilized. I still like Ewon's progress, but I found the 5th volume to be more emotionally grabbing (before I liked the 6th more). Now I think that the 6th was, mostly, unnecessary with its contents. In general, the story seems too unfleshed and rushed in some parts, and too melodramatic in others. The president just fell out of the picture too fast - why this situation was never dealt with at all? I understand that we're dealing with cultural differences here, and with childhood that was bad in general, but this issue is really just brushed off too fast, never explained, like it was nothing.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
was it too hard for the author just to say in some way that this was not going on since he was 12 or smth? He's 25 now, so they could be going at it for 7 years and be perfectly in legal range. Why not clarify this?

But in the end, in the 5th volume I felt the hurt, I felt the problem, and though, as I said already, the 6th volume was mostly unnecessary, I still understood most of the motivations and troubles
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
probably with the exception of Mookyul being 'kidnapped' by the president - that was stupid and, again, too rushed; it felt like it was purely for squeezing emotions out of readers

I still liked this manhwa, though not so much as I did before. I still find it an enjoyable read. And for those reasons I rate it the way I do, even with all of its problems.

Guilty Pleasure

This story is pretty predictable and melodramatic. It contains so many Korean drama cliches I've already lost count. But I read everything in one go, without a single break, because every chapter is a damn cliff hanger. It's one of those terrible books that you cannot put down because it is intriguing, in the moment. Overall, this manwha was terrible. None of the core human issues were tackled, and I cannot get past the amount of forced penetration that is condoned & made fun of.

- rape/sexual assault
- huge yaoi hands
- unresolved subplots
- "mafia" my butt. Totally doesn't seem that way at all.
- everyone has same face, different hair
- melodramatic and cliche
- plot jumps randomly with bad transitions
- unrealistic
- 1 dimensional side characters that are not fully fleshed out

- hot main characters with pretty eyes
- nice clothing
- "humorous"

From what starts off as a story where you kinda hate Ewon for cheating on Ji-ho, you can't help but get hooked! I don't like reading mangas that are violent or that show the ugly sides of humans but this manga manages to do that without putting you off. Well, to be honest most of the violence is more funny than horrific and the ugly sides of people doesn't shine too much. So the manga is generally more of a comedy romance.

I finished the manga in two days, only because I started reading it late at night! It was super addictive! I first thought it wouldn't be good but it was way better than I had imagined! You must read it! You won't regret it! XD

Characters stand out and are easy to tell apart. I hate when manga characters are hard to recognise.

Well, I can understand why so many people like it, because it's just like a simple shoujo manga with a girly story line, and if I read it when I was 14 year-old maybe I would have liked it, but for now I don't. Korean manga usually have unrealistic style, with the kind of chaebol motive...

Yaoi should just STOP trying to have a plot about the mafia! They don't do it right, at all! These characters feel so lifeless, except for the girl (who doesn't look much different from the other guys mind you). I feel like I was more rooting for her then any of the other characters.

Not to mention, the plot is REALLY boring. And, it feels like bits and pieces of information are left out. This's not a good manga at all. Do not read this. Go read Love Stage instead!

the no 1 reason I, and most readers here salivating over this manga is because of the god damn hot Mookyul and we will forgive any infraction of his, or the plot, or whatever. the mangaka did a great job in making the most piercing gaze to make the panties drop. however, that is not to say the art is great - the mangaka just specialize in that one face and expression. because certainly there are not much variation of face structure, body physique or eyebrow arch, sometimes i can be confused between guys if the hair is not drawn properly. and the proportion of the bodies are off, but it work well sometimes.

the plot, as per usual in manhwa, can be all over the place and without direction. the first half of the manga seems to be a leisurely walk without knowing the destination and the latter half pick up pace and sprint toward the goal. i do enjoy them thoroughly, but probably due to Mookyul. its not to say the plot is bad, but just usual.

the smex is not too much and make the readers use their imagination. some will prefer this, some will not. though the ear biting look really good when done by a hot character. who incidentally smoke too much but the act of smoking seems to increase the coolness factor by a 100 when there is no smell. some will like the possessive aspect of the relationship, some will not - i like it, since i see both of them are controlling of each other.

all in all, even you dont like looking at hot guys, the plot is good, and the comedy will tidy you over.

Truly, i love this manga since ever! It's so fcking cute and the story. The Story is the best & yea i read it because of Mookyul. I mean look at him!!!!!!! LOOK AT HIIIIM!!! He's so hot, everytime I got to see him, I'm just like "Fck, i'm wet" xdd. But after I read about 2 Chapters, my mind was going like crazy, it was so adorable and interesting. And then I was totally captivated, after 10 Chapters. God, I read everything in about 2 days, couldn't get enough from this. One of my first Manga and my number 1! Just read it, pls. Read and feel the Awesomeness!

I'm totally in love with this series.
It is one of those manga that makes you read this series over and over again and not get bored with it.
It's totally sweet and how many times did it capture my heart.
I like how Mookyul gets totally sweet with Ewon.
I totally recommend this.
One of my favorite manga.

Possesive theme? Done and in f*cking great the point you just can't get enough. Great Art. Amazing plot. Very likable characters. Uke who is not annoying (on the contrary). Just great, just great... btw don't be taken back by "the daddy issues" (It will be all explained) and don't forget to read all of the DJs or you will miss something great. But what I appreciate the most about this story overall is the fact, that finally, finally I've found a couple that has equal love for each other. Both uke & seme get jealous, want to manipulate each other etc... And even though seme can be very stubborn and doesn't seem to "respect" uke's wishes, he still cares very much about his darling. <3

First off. Glad I'm not the only upset but the hugo boss reference. That's just not o.k But mostly it moves way to slow. And they don't really address that pedophile gangster if you adopt someone and they call you dad it is not o.k to sleep with him. Not when you take them in when their 12. The main couple look way to much alike it was hard telling them apart. Just to me it was way to long and overrated.
