I'm surprised some people didn't like this manga!
Plot: really lured me in. There's been a couple manga's where they change their appearance for a guy but this time was definitely different. I loved the twists and turns and the events that occurred and how everything was thought up really well. It's definitely an addicting manga so if you have homework to do, don't start reading this yet 😛
I loveeeedddd how Charles fell in love with her. It just made everything so much more thrilling and exciting!
Characters: Loved all of them. I really liked the character development Geraldine went through and how much strength she was able to muster up after all those years. The way
Geralde and Jake go so well together was absolutely breathtaking. They had so much love for each other and they were able to support each other no matter what.
I also really liked Charles despite all he's done. I just couldn't get myself to hate him because you get to see the reason why he turns out the way he is and
! in the end, you see that he's just a human guy who feels regret about killing her dad and you can see that he really just wants to be happy and he thinks that by inheriting the Roswell's money, he can get it. He's had such a bad childhood, it's no surprise he wants money that badly.
You definitely go through an emotional roller-coaster: Happy, sad, angry, ecstatic, worried, anticipation, power, love, sympathy, empathy and just so much more.
Romance: Smut-- but not pointless smut. It was definitely convenient and had a reason. Not TOO smutty as well so it had a good balance and yeah, definitely a romance manga haha!
Ending: Perfect.
In my opinion, Charles had to die. I mean he had nothing going for him after losing everything but nevertheless, it was definitely bittersweet because you start to see another side of him-- his soft side right before he dies. Things that weren't supposed to happen twisted everything around and so Geraldine felt bad and told Charles to shoot her but he couldn't because he just loved her so much already tear and so he made his own choice to jump off the cliff and said "Be Happy, Geraldine Francis" and it ended with her and Jake spending the rest of their life together
It was absolutely beautiful.
