Description
Suppose you were so beautiful that people mistook you for a superstar, a model. So beautiful that strangers went out of their way to catch a glimpse of you and shopkeepers offered you things freely. Kyung-hee Goh is that girl. Trapped by the feelings she evokes in other people, she steers through life alone. Boys are either too intimidated to approach her or think she should reward their compliments with her attention. Then she catches the attention of the baddest boy in the school. And that's when the battle really starts...

Unlike a lot of people here, who either hate this story, or love it, I found the plot in this story neutral until chapter 15-17 in where everything started going downhill. There is some redeeming features to this story it, and there is just some plain bad ones.... But here is my opinion.
First of all, this male shoujo protagonist is very different from a normal shoujo "Prince charming". When it comes to "bullying the ones they like", he is not for the faint of heart reader as he is extremely mean to our heroine, sometimes close to the point of killing her and beating her cruely. He bullies her mercilessly and unlike "Hana Yori Dango" (Go check it out if you have not seen it- Much better) he never shares remorse, or gets "better".
Instead, he is an immature bully, which reasons are barely understandable. He is a very warped individual, who's loyalties are not focused on the main girl at all, but towards the individual "who made him this way". The same person who used him as their puppet. It gets much deeper then that, but I digress.
The real reason I kept with this story so long in because of Kyung-hee Goh, a beautiful girl with a very strange sense of fighting, but nevertheless an emotionally strong individual.
I did not realize when I first read this (Maybe because I was blinded by rage and how idiotic it seems not to go to the police after almost getting beaten to death) but as I reread this manhwa a second time, I realized she understood how corrupt the system was. Even if she had gone to the school principle, the responsible bully would not be fairly punished, so she stood her ground. I liked how she was strong, even though physically with normal strength, but I loved her strong will, and her unconventional thinking (although maddening at times)
That is until chapter 15 happened, and things started going downhill....She acted like a lovesick fool. It was amazing, and disappointing. Maybe I will come back to this story in another few years, like from when I first read this manhwa, and maybe not, but I do strongly suggest that you think clearly, asking yourself "Am I open minded enough to not take this so much as a shoujo, as a serious story about bullying? Or will I get offended? (Even if you're sort of hard to offend)"
If you still think you can read this after you answered those questions, then I think you should try it out.

I disagree @ stemcel. You'll miss a whole different artwork, a totally different twisted plot, a whole different characters. The main girl is impressive she's beautiful and has the attitude u wish to have as a female. Like the im-not-about-to-show-any-of-my-weaknesses-attitude is a 5 points for me. The story and artwork is 5 which equals to 10. Recommended to readers who wants to read something new, different and fresh..

I like the art a lot. It's different and has kind of a quirky feel to it. And is different then most Korean mangas. Even though the sudden shift in the male character kind of caught me off guard. I really like it and can't wait to read more!
really refreshing!

I understand the people who rated this very low and the ones who rated it high. I'm assuming the ones who rated this low didn't really get to read the latest chapters. Read it guys, then judge again. This is a pretty good manhwa, I don't wanna give it a 10 yet but it's definitely different, wonderfully different. I'm so excited with the new turn of events, can't wait for new capters.
Read it first okay, don't be too discouraged about the ratings. Judge for yourself.

I've read here comments saying the art work sucks, that's just weird, 'cause the art is what attracted me to this manhwa in the first place. The art work is something unique and interesting, not what you'd see in a regular shoujo manga. I think the art work is beautiful, and since I have to say the story hasn't exactly been anything shatteringly new, now I'm pretty much only reading this because I love the art work.
I'm hoping the story will improve, at least the characters seem to be growing now, they get more character after every chapter. Keeping my fingers crossed here

While the artwork isn't the great, but its okay if you forget the white creepy eyelashes.
The start of the story seems a bit freaky... i donno how this will be a romance, but so far the female character's strength has really attracted me to this manga. It's not one of those unrealistic fighting chick type strength, its the "I'm not gonna be defeated by the likes of you" type of thing.I would recommend it, although there is violence, i'm guessing there is a good reason for it... this story wouldn't be good without it. Just don't expect a lovey dovey lighthearted story, A psycho guy who beats up girls and a girl who has insane willpower... that's what you have here.

I looove this! The main character, the girl, is SO amazing. I love heroines like her... and you don't get to find a heroine like her often. The story is still very mysterious so far, can't wait for the plot to develop more and reveal more about the main guy. The art is so great too. Really different and clean and refreshing. A big thumbs up!!
(Man, looking at the previous comments I have to say i'm SHOCKED to see such low ratings. This manga is very different, not cliche or typical at all, that might be why it turns some ppl off but seriously... if you're tired of the cliched stuff and I know I am, give this a try.)

I feel this on one of those hate it or love it kind of mangas. I personally loved it. The girl was actually stunning like a 60's pin up girl. her eyes were a bit unsettling though. i loved how she actually had some intelligence to her and i loved the fact that she rationed with herself about actually liking the guy. the guy well he was very childish and definatly took some getting used to. its a bit like [m]Hot Gimmick[m] but thankfully not to that degree.

This story is one that just freaks you out.
Whether it is going to be the artwork that puts you off or the story, where one just needs to think twice before understanding what is really going on. The female protagonist seems as reckless and suicidal as her favorite musician Elliott Smith and her attitude towards people and life in general is certainly different than any other shojo lead. But to me it is just that, that makes this manhwa rather appealing.
Once I started reading I wasn´t able to stop and even though I can´t tell you what it was that kept me hooked, this story of a girl so beautiful, that everyone falls in love with her, and her attempts at escaping people´s prejudices and finding her place in life is just really moving.
Still, I have to admit, there were a few things that I wasn´t too happy with and which finally led me to abandon the story, what with the way the relationship between the two protagonists turns out or the fact that the male lead seems more and more like a puppet used by someone else to get revenge.
Seing the other comments it seems you´ll either hate or love this manhwa, but isn´t it usually those, that evoke emotions in people´s hearts, that turn out to be the best? So all I can do is recommend it to everyone out there interested in an alternative shojo story that will leave you quite speechless at times.
