The main story is kinda rubbish but not bad at a same time. Kurt is such a brat, but he’s nothing like Joffrey. The second chapter is pretty brutal if you ask me. Omg, Michel’s twin brother is also a hottie. The third is a wild ride. That was the example of the opposite of reality would look like. The sex scene is intense, the fourth chapter is something I was kinds get into but got bored at the end. The fifth chapter is too short.

I get a kick out of how everyone in the military, allied or axis, is bisexual or gay. Everyone, even the nameless background characters. Miller is the only hetero for miles.

Micheal is hilariously shameless & has no problem with things like public sex & screaming about his love life to anyone within hearing distance. & his little brother Kurt has his own hilarious relationship where despite his age & stature, is exquisitely bossy & perverted. (Think Draco Malfoy crossed over with Shuichi from Gravitation & the little chicken hawk from Looney Tunes). I'm glad a large chunk of the manga revolves around him, because ukes like him are a refreshing change from the usual. This kid knows what he wants & goes for it whole hog.

A few of the many shenanigans in this manga; Hans becomes a priest, soldiers use his confessional as a dating service to pass love letters to enemy soldiers. Big hulking Micheal, who seemed like the manliest thing in the world, finds himself being hit on like a woman, which triggers Hans' berserk button, then they screw in a church.

This series also makes humorous use of "engaged in battle" as a double entendre. I got a little confused when Harunobu showed up, because the German officer he seduces looks quite a bit like Micheal until he takes his hat off.

This series is most likely set during WW2, but there are no swastikas & the soldiers are never referred to as Nazis.

An annoying translation error on the Scanlator's part is that they keep saying "English" when they should be saying "German."

Okay, you need to know that this is kind of a series, but all the books have different titles. Read them in this order:
*Koutetsu no Daitenshi.
*Datenshi ni Sasageru Uta.
*Daitenshi: Harem Nights (62 page official doujinshi).
*Datenshi ni Sasageru Uta: Family Visit (18 page official doujinshi).
*Doutei Saizensen.
*Bed no Shita no Himitsu.

Continuing the Trend of Comedy, Smut and Aggression!

My goodness these characters are hilarious! Especially the sharp-tongued and arrogant Rosenberg. This collection introduces two of Rosenberg's brothers: Kurt, the pompous young petite one; and my personal favourite, Lucifer, the hard-assed, ominous elder twin. The dialogue in all the oneshots are fabulously clippy and bold, just like the explicit art.

C2 is my favourite, which focuses on Lucifer. Hans has a terribly hot, almost non-con with this devil. The art is beautiful. Body tied-up as art.

C4. is a close second. This one actually pulled at my heart strings quite a bit with its sadness. A young man, who has never known consensual sex, only forced, selfish sex, has blocked off his pain. He is completely bitter, believing all soldiers are the same: greedy, selfish and only wishing to use him. One day, he's captured and realizes that there is one man who is different. Mizukami-sensei excels at seductive river scenes.

There is too much focus on Kurt, with several chapters devoted to his story. He just got more and more whiny. His saving grace was the humour imbued into his stories, but I'd rather have seen another story about Lucifer.

When I saw the cover of this manga I was like 'Hell no way I'm reading this'...but at the end I did.I did read the sequel after all. It surprised me. I liked it...but story wise it was kinda lacking. But over all a good read.
