the worst thing about this manga is probably the clothes. i just cant imagine why the mangaka think any of the costume look good! like, what the hell is zero wearing, a codpiece??!!
i do enjoy a lot of other aspect. however, there are so many things left unanswered.there should be a sequel. unlike others, i do not mind anyone dying, but i just hate that the mysteries of the auras still unknown.

I really enjoyed this manga. Characters were well developed and it had a bit of everything. The drawing style is a bit dated but I didn't mind it as much.
However.. if I had to judge the last volume alone, I'd give it a 4...Things were rushed, characters died out of nowhere. Important people dissappear without explanation. There appears to be a time-lapse but nothing is shown about what happenned during that time. Main character's powers and personality drastically change.. I could go on and on about the many things rushed or unexplained but I'll just leave it at "it sucked".

I only feel regret with that ending it the worst. Don't kill people for no reason you know what i watched the anime the ending is no good but the manga ending is the worst possible outcome i hate that. right now i feel like crap.
Any other ending would make this manga a master piece. But this ending make it a sad manga.

This series has me remember it after all these years. The concept of the protagonist's psychic ability (to see auras by peeking through the hole of his hand) is signature to me. I remembered how excited I was reading near the end, how powerful and dramatic the final boss scene was.
All in all, from a person who has read it many years ago, I look back and say, "This manga is actually pretty good. Try it out."

Quite good in the beginning............but lost all great aspects as it went...........all the char and plot dev went down the roof near the end........I was quite disappointed since this mangaka had really impressed me in the past with his escaflowne series"all of them"
it was one of the 1st mangas that i have ever read in my life, withing my 1st 50 probly, it was really wonderful and charming. i love Mew, loved her so much. she reminds me of Suzuka from the manga Suzuka.
I liked it thematically but the execution was average. Mind you I don't really mind average plots. There's a reason they're common. The ending was kinda sad though.
This manga had some good points and had a good amount of originality to keep me interested. Halfway through it started to rush itself, things were progressing a tad fast. I thought it was just a small arc so didn't give it much thought. Though then it ended, and badly. Small spoiler here, but, the manga uses death to solve problems (one was quite interesting I might add). This is where it felt really rushed, instead of having a natural flow of things it quickly finished itself by killing people. Another manga that put to much into a story a didn't have the room for it. Maybe he couldn't keep up a story with all the Futari Ecchi stuff he was doing. Art is quite nice, not the best I've seen, but very much not the worst.

I enjoyed most of the story: it moved slowly but steadily, built up the characters and gradually filled in the background of what was going on.
But (to me) the ending seemed extremely rushed: it felt like the mangaka ran out of ideas or just got tired of writing the series, and threw something together in a hurry just to get it over with.
Wish some of the pointless filler material had been left out of the story and the space used to support a more complete ending.

woulda been better if not for the unsatisfying ending... good plot i like magic.
i thought Orina and Yura (Futari Ecchi) looked the same.... turns out its the same author, and i never knew...
