I enjoyed seeing this from the Seme's pov. Also liked the story being about a couple who already know they like guys (gay x bi), so none of that "but I'm straight!" or "I'm only gay for you" bs

"All I wanted was for you to be happy, but if you're going to be unhappy then I'd rather you to be unhappy because of me"
-- I reaallyy liked how Kyousuke (seme mc) worded this explaination as to why he pushed away Kasumi (uke) bcs he didnt believe that he could make Kasumi happy by being with him. It's a cliche trope, but they explained it well and it made sense in the context of this story. Mc's reasoning was valid and so readers can empathise with him instead of getting mad at him.

It was so cute... I wish I saw more of their happy living together. For eg, I would loved to have seen Kasumi be introduced to Kyousuke's co-workers... or just more of their daily lives living together after they began dating. Would also have liked to get some closure about Kyousuke's relationship with his family, especially with his homophobic father. Even just one confrontation / argument scene would have been nice. but oh well ig this manga was too short to fit all that in, so I just wish this was longer.

This strikes a good balance between conventional and unexpected. The pacing is comfortably predictable, and there are no big twists or surprises, but the details make it feel very grounded in reality. It doesn't feel like a cookie cutter story at all. It gives the sense that the author really spent time thinking through the characters' backstories, motivations, off-screen experiences, etc., and still had the wisdom to leave those things unsaid. As someone who reads a LOT of BL tankobans, this is top tier in the genre without trying to break out of the genre. Very enjoyable.

Holy hell. that was cookie-cutter BL formula... standard back and forward... not much of value, the angst isn't anywhere even close to what I hoped for. the art is substandard and the porn was so uninteresting I flipped fast it. I could barely finish it, it was so boring.
The conflict is so stupidly frustrating too, lol. I mean I get it, but ugh, not satisfying at all, lol.

There is some frustration on how the same thoughts keep repeating and progress in the relationship between the two isn't happening. In the grand scheme of things, it makes the payoff that much better in the end. Both of these dudes have had stuff happen in their childhoods, and they are really wholesome children.

Special props to Kasumi's hair looking really nice throughout the series Kinda wish we got more moments of Kyousuke's stubble but that's really not important.

The sex was really hot and you love to see it happen. All of the H-scenes felt so emotional for both of these guys and I want all of my H-scenes to be impactful and not just obligations for the final chapter resolution.

I also love the character blurbs at the very end, it adds an extra layer of "ah yes, there was thought put into all the characters"

BL at its finest. Titles like this remind me why I love this genre so much. It feels realistic in its portrayals of flawed characters, but the struggles both face and their determination to overcome them throughout the story also make the ending so worthwhile. Great read for those who like more mature, slice-of-life stories.

Feelings will come to life people!!!! It is a rather bittersweet story. BUT THE ENDING MAKES IT ALL WORTH IT. Please take a minute of your time and enjoy this beautiful story.
