“My name is Bi-yeon. I am the god you are destined to serve.”

After being stricken with a spiritual illness, Shin-woo visits a shaman and receives a spirit-possession ritual. That’s how he meets the deity Bi-yeon. It would’ve been fine if their relationship had ended there—but the moment they meet, things get physical. And soon after, Bi-yeon starts clinging to him constantly. When Shin-woo asks why Bi-yeon keeps following him, the god replies:

“If you and I join together… it means I can protect you with my own power, since heaven has forsaken you.”

But can Shin-woo really trust those words? Or is Bi-yeon not a god at all, but a deceitful spirit in disguise?
