I've read 3 chapters of this. It's got good art (clear and well-drawn, but also with lively facial expressions and characterization) and character designs which are more unique than my first impression assumed them to be.
As for the story's content, right now it's mostly just a fun narrative. By the way, I was misled by people talking about "romance", at this stage it's just a bunch of silly awkward conversations, with only one or two blushes (the girl only IIRC)... pretty much all of it based off the dynamic of a girl+boy forced to hold hands.
The background story hasn't really been fleshed out, it's more of a rough sketch at this point. The "serious aspects" of the story (like life/death situations) don't have a lot of drama associated with them, at least not at this point, it's more like "Oh, no! What do we do? Somehow we were just able to make it! Whew." Not a whole lot has happened so far in the story with respect to the story's main plot, but a lot of small incidents have occurred in rapid sequence. At the story's current state, there are a lot of unknowns with respect to the plot, so it's difficult to be able to make a statement about the potential for future plot development.
As far as character potential: Elraine has an emotionally complex past, and her past experiences have been referenced once or twice; Kiri's seems like he's just had an ordinary, fairly nice life up to the present... but the manga is strongly hinting that there's something special about him, and it seems like he's keeping secrets and trying to downplay himself. Hmm.
So far this manga has just been a cute and entertaining story, but it has the potential to change rapidly, especially with the recent introduction of a character who I get the feeling has a personality that will stir things up.
