An unpolished gem

This is definitely one of the better Korean mangas out there, but its not quite up to par with Japanese counterparts. The plot starts off as a simple love-revenge story in a light-is-bad-dark-is-good world, but it quickly spins itself out of control as the motives for both the protagonists and the antagonists become complex and convoluted.

Pretty good overall and addictive

At first glance looks like another Berserk-clone and is to a greater extent. Still, well-fleshed out characters and a great main man in deshwitat. Regardless of the convoluted plot development at least it bothers to cover up the holes and makes it look pretty. One of the few action seinen out there that can keep u glued to it anymore. Its nice to see the art evolve over time too.

Great Manga

Really liked this manwha. It has a good deal of action but dosen't just focus on it. Great revenge story. 9/10. 🙂

To clear something up though; the manwha IS NOT over, it is still ongoing though the scan group has stopped scanlating it 🙁
I hope somebody will pick this up because I love the characters and plot.

With no ending, the cliffhanger, or so it seems, leaves the whole series flat. What a waste of twenty volumes! Reminds me of Ragnarok, but at least that only lasted for 10 volumes.

I would vote it better if the story hadnt become so complicated nearby the end. As the plot progresses I'm more and more confused about what those people are doing.

Berserk lite with a vampire twist, thats if u want a shallow shortsighted answer.
I still find it good enough to stand on its own, even if alot of scenarios/chars resemble with the berserk cast.

Loveable characters, art is nice n the action works. Ofc all this been done before, but thats true for 90% of the market 😛

Still a good read.

i can not believe how little understanding the average american has about the difference in the style between the Korean manhwa and the Japanese manga. I wish the public would refer to Rebirth to what it is truely is a manhwa. I find it offensive that my culture should be stolen by the Japanese... it not i dont like the mangas but knowing aknowledgeing the difference never hurt... but overall i am a big fan of this manhwa and i hope the american public can learn to enjoy other manhwas as well

Okay so we've got two things in this manhwa that are often neglected in other: telling apart characters at once, clear story and excellent pacing.
The plot isn't terribly unique, but it's even more touching and better when it's perfectly clear what the hell is going on.
As for the characters, it's refreshing to actually see a main character that actually looks like a guy 😛 . And a Chinese android. And Vatican priests experts in security sistems.

An underestimated serie.

Anyway, the story is very good. A very tragic story actually, not unlike Berserk and Claymore. A couple of volumes into the serie and a lengthy flashback is shown, not entirely unlike Berserk and Claymore... -.-

The art is pretty good, no real complains about it.

In short: read it for the story. I do.

As I read through the first couple of chapters, I realized something very odd and I can put it into a simple phrase - Bastard!! called, it wants it's characters back.
