I honestly do hate love at first sight stories because they are so shallow but I think this one is well done. The female lead learns that people have a lot more to them than meets the eye and that every person has flaws too. Love the progression and healing that happens in this webtoon.
Aside from the antagonists who have rather one-dimensional motivations, the characters are really grounded and exceptional.
Maybe its part because of the Korean love for complex drama but usually in shojo the love interest is a real princely but kinda sadistic type with a light hearted checkered past or a cute bright and honest type but here the MMC has just a bit more depth. Add to that the FMC is intelligent. Most of the usual tropes of misunderstandings are 90% resolved by her frank bulldozer personality.
I will say the romance kinda feels a bit flat somehow but maybe its because things get resolved in a reasonable and realistic manner compared to other stories.
