i love this manga so much its totally my favorite!! at first i read thinking " oh good shes a nun i wont have to deal with all that boring romance crap" but then i started to like chrono X rosette....THEY ARE JUST SOO CUTE whether chronos in chibi form or in older form!!

This was a fantastic manga. Although the ending was quite depressing, the story was good and the art was very pretty. One of the best mangas I've read in my opinion.

i loove thos mangs, every side of it is sooo special! sometimes i wanna jump in and yell at them for hours!

For some reason, whenever I see nuns and guns (or catgirls with guns, or bunnygirls, maids, ect.) I'm expecting a semi-good plot with lots of pantyshots to have to skip over. But this manga was actually really good. The plot was interesting, it was funny, and the art was pretty.
The ending being so overbearingly depressing contradicted with the humor, and left me in tears. I would've liked a happier ending, but not being able to have everything you want is an important idea in the story, so maybe better left like that. I really enjoyed it.

It also left a really deep impression on me, even now, more than a month after completing it (and watching the anime afterwards), I still think about it. This is one of my favorites.

The start was a little slow. It's the character's back story and the conclusion that are the interesting arcs. Get past the first couple of chapters and it's great. The Opening is a little cliche. Still a very good series.

This is one of my favori-- no, IS my favorite manga. The absolutely gorgeous artwork, the way Moriyama manages to draw the reader into the character's (even the villains, dammit! ...Aion. <3) individual stories and sufferings, the bittersweet closure - it all makes me love Chrno Crusade.

Whilst the romance disappoints me in that there is SO LITTLE ZOMG, it balances out by being a well-crafted and non-cliched relationship. Ok, so usually love stories between demons/nuns are always cliche...but I insist that this love story will break your heart! Though I guess it all depends on how much of a tragic story you can come up with with only a few hints...
Anyway, I like Chrono and Rosette's relationship. It's not necessarily romantic, but a companionship that is spoken beyond mere words and gestures.

Of course, I could be biased. You'll have to read it in it's 8 volume (short..D: ) entirety to full understand! On the topic on short mangas, I find that it's the ones that are 6-9 volumes in length that really stand out. There are exceptions of course.

This is a nice manga, though it's not my style It was a good read.
But the end... it just crushed me... even though I like a little sadness in the endings, this was just to much, like not justifed.

well i've read a lot of mangas so i find this a bit cliche..the love story too is a bit uncomfortable coz chrono is almost in a kid form in the whole story, although in reality he's decades/century older?artwork though is quite good and the plot is enteresting and fast paced..and the characterization is quite nice..

but what really blew me away is the way it was concluded. it was a bit sad and nostalgic and a lot more..i just love epilogues!

although i also find it confusing..can someone clear this up for me?well there was this 1931 year where someone supposedly died without even seeing whom she/he was waiting for and then on the last pages there was the 1932 year where he/she almost died but the long awaited someone arrives..please excuse the he/she reference, just to avoid spoiling the story further.. so which is which? is it an alternate ending? or did i just misunderstood?

anyways this is definitely recommendable. and the fact that it is a bit short and already completed are plus factors...

This was my first manga and it is still my favourite. What's not to love?. Cool villains, good plot and artwork, a nice amount to angst/love (not too overbearing or cheesy), maturity, a demon with control issues and (as was said already) a gun-toting nun. A half mark off because I am still a wee bit annoyed at the ending... I am sooo spoilt for other manga, but Trinity Blood is helping a whole lot, lol...

I have watched the Anime of Chrno Crusade and now i am reading the Manga. ^^ Its on of my favorite Animes and Mangas of all.
I like the charakters and the story very much. Especially the love between Chrno and Rosette. ^^
