In the beginning the MC seemed principled. He did what he had to, to become stronger in a dog-eat-dog world.

However, I've reached the point in the series where he's finding strong people to eat, just because they're strong. They haven't done anything to him yet, but their strength puts them on his menu. He's already incredibly OP, so it's not like he even _needs_ strength anymore. He's just straight up become the villain at this point.

Which is fine, if you want a villain protagonist. But that's not how the series started, and it's disappointing to see this become yet another OP-villain-MC story.

As many have said, this is a typical self-insert power fantasy isekai, and heavily narrated. Nothing inherently wrong with that at the onset. However, it becomes, in my opinion, very trite and repetitive. Quickly, you will lose track of which powers the MC has and find it weird that he continues to search for more.
This manga takes several interesting tropes and settings from its peers, and waters them down to be the most bland as possible.
Seriously, there is an over-saturation of abilities, powers, skills, and magic. So much so that it is ridiculous. Instead of a handful that the MC has to get creative with, which expands one's imagination and the author's creativity, we instead get a product that seems like the author just went down a list of D&D spells and X-Men powers and gave the MC everything that seemed cool.

One of the most empty manga out there. Don't bother with it. Even if you're looking for some brain-off fun, there are way too many words for no reason (mainly over-exposition). The art is alright.

I want to point out two things. First, I am an easy to please individual when it comes to stories, especially isekai/reincarnation. Second, even if I gave it a five, I quite enjoy the story. The main reason I gave it a five, is because I feel this manga is a diary. As a sidenote.. man girls in these universe fall easily for his charm XD I think his skill for getting all the girls must be one of the most OP out of any manga/anime main character I can remember.

First of all I want to point out something: I do not dislike the story. I do not feel appalled by the rape content, mostly because it is not highlighted, not to mention it does not show or explain it, afar from some comical looking "sounds" that make you imagine some lewd stuff happen in the background. This is nothing like Berserk for example, where it made me skip ahead pages, just to not get unhappy by it.

So, the main and maybe even the only reason I gave it a 5, is because this does not feel like a manga. It is like a hybrid of a novel with manga, that lacks dialogue. The 99% of the scenes just have a dialogue box, which is the MC explaining What is happening in the scene we are looking at. Actual dialogue between characters is rare to the point I started making fun of the thought that this will ever become an anime, where a narrator would be the one mostly talking.

25 chapters in and I find it interesting, as just any other Isekai with a generalized story. I do not feel bored of it and I do not think currently I want to drop it, but my point stands. I just feel I am reading a novel, where there are pictures attached so you can help your imagination shape easier, while the dialogue of the people does not matter. If someone asked me what type of manga this was, my answer would be;

A diary.

This might be the most bland isekai i've ever read.

The story (if you can call it that) never goes anywhere meaningful, they just roam around a rather small area so the MC can eat things and get more powerful. Every chapter he gets a bunch of extra powers but you don't even need to read 99% of them, if it's important he will mention it in the very next panel.

This very much feels like a novel instead of a manga with the way it wants to painfully explain everything instead of you know, using the different medium to show. I also haven't seen so much narration since the chimera ant arc in HxH.

Honestly i only continued reading this until the end was because it reminded me so much of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, but failed to be anywhere near as good as that.

To sum it up this is a wet dream for the stereotypical chunni hikikomori otaku who lives in the mom's basement, no offense meant.

Its just bad, really bad, unless this is the kinda story thats up your alley.

Protagonist is basically a Mary Sue. His character lacks depth, no dimensions. Bland and dull.
Even his companions have a more colorful character than him despite not being in the limelight often. Thats not to say the secondary characters are fleshed out, they're still quite bad, maybe because theres too many of them. Moreover character development was given the superficial treatment which is disappointing.

World building is horrible too. Unoriginal and half baked. No effort was put into to create a fully developed living breathing world.

Storyline is haphazard while the plot so far is mediocre or aimless rather. Seems like its going with the go with the flow which is not how you create a story for readers. Overall shallow plot and does not engage the reader.

I'm open to varying themes in books, no matter if its cliche or morally sensitive and that goes for character alignments but over here, author is pushing character development and plot to specific directions just for the sake of having it like that. Theres not core agenda, motivation, driving force behind it all. Its frustrating to read.

In summary, absolutely no substance, a mile wide and barely ankle deep. Fanfics are notorious for being ridiculously bad and serves to stroke ones ego and self indulgence, this manga qualifies for that.

This is definitely something different from what I usually read, which is shoujo and smut. I'm usually a hater of harems, but in this one I found it fine since every women in his harem gets equal treatment which lessens the possibility of the reader having a "favorite". Overall, every chapter keeps me intrigued in how much further the mc can grow/evolve, build his village with various races, and raise his children (they are sooo cute!!).

I enjoy reading this manga and I love when new chapters come out for this series. Everyone preferences and opinions will be different, so you should give this manga a try. Personally, I put this within my top 5 reincarnation or isekai mangas.

While reading others reviews, I have to say something, the mc's girls do feel jealousy (their first orgy/time having sex was b/c of jealousy), he saved a group of human girls that were kidnapped from a group of older goblins (he let them either leave or redeem themselves), he doesn't kill humans just b/c he wants skills or to rape them (for ex. I believe a human army was threatening the elf community and he fought them and captured the remaining people from the army), and he usually just enslaves those that threatened/attacked his community.

The art is okay. Other than that, I've never read anything of lower quality. I've never seen a bigger Gary Stu. I've never seen a worse moral framework. On top of that, it's repetitive. I want to go on for paragraphs, but this review is already sounding comically negative. It's all been said.

I always find it funny when a manga’s comments differ completely from the votes/ratings , for all wud be readers take any opinion you read like a grain of salt and make your own opinion
