The art is good (not fantastic, but it gets the job done), and the focus on the two main heroines is a welcome change, but towards the end the story gets a bit rushed. The ending was inevitable, given that that's a big part of what made the game so famous in the first place, but it could've used another two or three chapters near the end to show how the characters got to that point.

Overall, it's not bad, but it doesn't really stack up to the game or the anime. Still, if you've already done both the game and the anime and want more (or if you're unwilling to give either of those a go), it's worth reading, especially given it's short length.

I only read the manga, and i guess it quite fun...BUT it can be much better.

In my mind, i guess the writer want something fresh, crazy in cutie typical manga. the storyline are quite good, really (well, i like it...) BUT
character development are too lame. Surely, none of character had strong personality.
the ending was a crush, fine, let it be. But it had an very weak impact. I can guess the ending when read ch 11. but I prefer Kotonoha, not Sekai. Why? Because from story development, it only seen that -Sekai is not important person that destroy whole story, whole character and whole ending.-

conc: very unique love manga, if you had spare time, just read it. No need to be so serious, the story is not very deep.

Personally I think Makoto was an ass in the anime but in the manga, I acually kind of liked him. He didn't go with all these random girls in the manga and he decided who to be with and he even said sorry to the girls for dating them at the same time.
I didn't think Sekai was a bitch. She liked Makoto and she even got Kotonoha and him together. She liked the guy, and he was dating someone else and she wanted him to be happy,give her a break. But I do think she shouldn't have kissed him all those times.
In the anime, it wasn't really her fault that she got pregnant (she still has part of the blame, she could'ove said no) and she wanted Makoto to raise the child with her.
That's my opinion.

i watched the anime first and that was scary, i thought makoto was a horrible horny womanizer and both kotonoha and sekai were crazy for doing those things and for even liking that jerk.
i finished the manga, now i think makoto was ok, since it was 2 girls and he decided who he actually wants to be with. and well kotonoha and sekai still crazy for their actions in the end
now this is wat i hate: when i searched school days before the anime ended it said Genre: romance, drama, school life so i thought it was ok to watch, but when it ended it kind of scared/scarred me becuz i cant ever forget and when i checked the genre for School Days again, they added the Tragedy or Horror to it. now that is wat i hate, they should of added the Horror/Tragedy in the beginning, so ppl who dont like that wouldnt read it and be scarred.
they added the tragedy when it ends, that really sucks!
honestly, i wouldnt recommend this to young teenage kids, becuz it could make them do the same to others that they hate

The game itself has around 20 endings, I think only 4 are bad. Somehow those bad endings came to be called the "Good endings" in gaming circles. I watched the Anime and liked it very much. I'm not much into the twisted, or dark, stories but when they are done very well I really enjoy them. The same attention to character creation was used in this manga. Even though it's only 12 chapters (aka "Pages") long you really do get a good feel for the players. Even the side characters have well thought of personalities. The art work too is really well done. So if you can handle the male lead being a wishy-washy, go-along-with-the-flow, kind of guy and the two main female characters turning out to be psychotic stalker-types, then this is the one for you.

But remember, there IS a moral to this story that's directed to all the guys out there, make your feelings VERY clear to the women in your life!

I only picked up this manga because of what seemed to be a promising storyline and cute artwork. Things turn out contrary to what I expected though. The main character, Makoto, is not only an imbecile but a total JERK!!!
I feel bad for Kotonoha though. And yeah, Sekai is a friggin' BITCH.
But the ending is totally lame. But it sure gave me a shock.

This story always scares me. I kept anticipating which ending they were going to go with. Of all of them, this particular path was not one that I preferred. An interesting read though. Makoto is such an idiot... Sekai is just a bitch...

I've read the final chapter.. And it just what the hell with the ending... It the worst ending i've ever seen in a manga.. Sekai is a total bitch!!! it's all her fault since the beginning!! She has no right saying that makoto suffering since he know kotonoha... He suffer because of sekai!!!

I've read the manga up to chapter 9 and I must say I'm quite disappointed. Things go pretty good up to chapter 8 but then it starts to look like one of those lame tv programs such as The Young and the Restless... Well, to anyone who expects the main character to gain consistency, just don't read this.
Edit: Actually chapter 11 shows up something pretty interesting at the end of it, look for it, it's like a turning point!
Edit2: Actually it isn't, the three last chapters destroyed the entire series

i saw the anime and i was like WOW OMFG LOL... anyone who watched the anime can relate i hope, but is the manga any different? I wanted to read this cause i saw the anime and i was hoping for a more "ideal" ending that doesnt just make u stunned.
