There's some unique stories here. There's a bit more smut than in a lot of shoujo/josei, but it doesn't take away from the stories. The smut is tastefully done - for smut, that is.
"Give Me Your Love!" features... a rather unlikeable female lead. Really. Her behavior in the past is childish and annoying - and her behavior in the present isn't much better. In fact, it's worse. She's the type of girl who does whatever she wants to get whatever she wants and she doesn't seem to care who she hurts. An otherwise interesting story was ruined by this terrible character. Then again, the story wouldn't have existed without her terrible behavior created drama, so... Well, in any case, she's annoying.
"The Snake Kiss" is my favorite story of this volume. The female lead is, again, kind of selfish and annoying - but it's not as extreme as in the first story. The male lead is a mystery until the end of the one-shot, but he's likeable long before then.
"Funny Couple" had some funny moments, but... I don't know. Something about it just seemed off to me. I couldn't really get into the couple's romance. Also, the smut in this chapter seemed completely out of place. If you're going to write a smutty one-shot, maybe two shy and inept characters aren't really the way to go. It just doesn't seem believable that either of these characters would jump right into bed with anyone.
"It Sparkles!" seems to have been well-liked by other reviewers, but I wasn't impressed by it. The female lead's boyfriend is a total dickhead, but the new love interest is a bit too wussy for my tastes. Neither of them seemed like a great prospect, so I found myself not really caring how the triangle worked out.
Overall, this is a decent volume of pleasant enough one-shots. It's not exceptional, but it's worth a quick read.
