A good, slow burn romance

I'm enjoying it. Pacing is a bit slow but it has a really nice atmosphere to it. Reading the development of the ML and FL's relationship is fun idk.
Not sure what the commenters talking about the FL getting tempted to cheat are talking about though. I never got that sense from her character before, she's both not the cheating type and also doesn't have feelings for the guy from her past anymore (not to mention the ML and FL aren't exactly on the same page regarding their feelings yet, it's an arranged marriage, his ex is involved, etc etc).

Another manhwa where stupid love triangle takes place to angst point.
Lol its quite annoying to see ML down right begging her not to cheat and FL being expression less tempting to cheat with her past lover on multiple occasions.
"Trash should belong in trashcan" this manhwa should belong to trash folder of my library.

Weird pacing and a nonsense story

The fact that the past lovers are so involved in this story just makes it weird. The male lead doesn't seem to care about her anymore, but their story just feels melancholic. Weird way to show it after the male lead is married. The same with the female lead.

This story is just begging for them to cheat on each other or get along with their exes, without actually intending to commit. And that's not really my opinion, many of the characters around them just want them to cheat on each other. What the heck is wrong with the society here? Putting aside the prince who wants the female lead, her ex who she supposedly married the male lead for since he's a knight under the male lead. Then they're supposedly planning on being loyal to each other. Like what the heck is this story trying to do or say.

Couldn't really continue, the pacing is a mess. You don't know who's who and what's happening most of the time, and the events seem to happen in a vacuum. Honestly, I just wanted them to break up and live alone for the rest of their lives since they seem to want the same as well. The romance is essentially nonexistent. At times the author will say that they care about each other, but there's really barely anything to show that. It's meant to be subtle, but just falls weak imo.

Okay so bcs I'm kinda fed up of isekai historical manhua which are flooding lately, I'm searching for earlier type arrange marriage with duke without isekai. And I love this soo much!!
The pace, how the author make the flow of stories beautifully without too much drama. They fall in love naturally, not denying it too much... And the panelling, especially, flows quite right.
I want mooreee 😭😭

my favorite comic

This is my favorite romance comic ever. It literally has everything I want. Finally a female lead that's not desperate but beautiful, funny, and witty. Even though the ML has a past love, he doesn't cling to it too much so I'm not that disappointed. Their interactions are always great. They make a really good couple. They both have a wittiness that compliments so well with each other (ugh I love them so much). I can't wait for them to really fall more in love. This manhwa is definitely not as overdramatic (that's why I love it) compared to other mangas so if you like a lot of drama I wouldn't recommend it. But seriously if you're sick of the cliche shoujo mangas like me, really really recommend this. Like one of the commenters said, it has a certain lightness to the story. I beg the manhwa gods, please translators don't drop the manhwa.

It’s definitely a subtle romance although the pairing is already married. Also, the new group currently scanlating is only in Vietnamese not English.

I love this series! It's not too heavy nor it's too light! Just perfect, you know? I like both of the leads and the additional characters too! The plotline is smooth and the costumes are pretty! The art might not be very good but it didn't stop me from loving it! Arthur and Orthrez are perfect for each other! I like their chemistry even though it is a slow build.. I love all the charm in this manhwa! If only I can read Korean, I will absolutely bought the series!

If only I could read Korean...then I'd buy and read this manhwa myself. The storytelling is done very well, and the art conveys a certain lightness that contrasts with yet matches the plot very well, as circumstances that arise range from serious to funny. Orthez and Arthur share a slower relationship development than you'll see in most romantic manga, but it's still enjoyable to watch things unfold nonetheless. All the other characters have little connections that expand the world. Really, this is such a well-written work. I really wish for the chance to be able to see the conclusion.

Pretty refreshing altogether

It feels very real in a way. The wife states her absolute faithfulness on multiple occasions, and even permits mistresses (unfortunately the husband won't partake). It's rather uncommon to see characters in a Historical genre that don't inadvertently adhere to the moral fiber of the 21st century.

My ONE complaint is how impotent the husband comes off as, but rather that's characteristic of the intended demographic. He needs to impregnate her already, in all honesty. Their relatives are getting impatient too.

It's really emotionally moving. Even the serious love triangle was done well and felt fulfilling for at least 1 of the characters involved.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
In all honesty, my heart almost shattered when I read the poem at the end of Igraine visit. How she's bidding the male lead farewell, no longer shall she peruse him. She'll resign her body as the mistress of the king, but the male lead will ALWAYS keep her heart. She left her heart in Felluah...
Quite tragic, but really touching. The author did a good job of not making the past love's love seem any less important than the main couples. It really feels like you can understand the circumstances. Unlike a lot of shoujo where it's like "This is my ex-girlfriend whom I still super-duper love. We broke up because lol idk but I'm with you now so orz"

Like it so far

Can't wait to see the main couple's developments, am really like them together so far, their dynamic and overall ambiance, and usually I don't really root for a couple to be together even though mostly I read romances. And for once the author managed to use the 'historical' setting quite masterfully rather than just threw things in to generate dramas. I also like the ambiguous sentences and scenes, almost make it poetic? It could be slow to some though, so far (19th ch) the main couple hadn't really fallen in love with each other (will they even, lol) yet, just subtle hints here and there
