Description

Ellen's plan is simple. Before turning into an obsessive villain who gets executed, she's going to get a divorce! But after she becomes Ellen Lianster, her plan gets complicated. Don't think to much when reading this one. If you enjoy (multiple) sweet romances, family support, strong female characters, and happy endings, this one is a quick sell. I also enjoyed the art and coloring to evoke the different periods of their life together.

Cons: It drags a bit in the middle between chapters 65 and 85 but its not too much to handle (though i for a bit worried for a moment there). Also, the characters aren't that deep... but they are fun!

Also, the "prior life/ this is a book" plot gets abandoned about when the ogFL situation is resolved. But at that point, I had almost completely forgotten this was a reincarnation story to be frank.

Also Lianster = Lannister?

Had to drop around Chapter 60 maybe because I got bored. Thought I gave it a fair enough shot, but take what I say with a grain of salt. It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t very good. If you can stomach or ignore the fact the FL is mentally a 29yo falling in love with a 10yo (🤢), it’s still a very average story.

Usually with manhwa like this, you can maybe argue that moving into a much younger physical form could theoretically obscure your emotional maturity/experience/decision-making because the chemical makeup of your brain or whatever has changed (ie past life is long in the past). But the author makes it pretty explicit FL views herself as an adult lol. Its one “saving grace” in this regard is that the FL doesn’t “really” fall in love until they’re into their teens maybe. Otherwise she makes some creepy comments throughout (when considering the mental age difference). Take with that what you will.

Art is fine, better than similarly mid-tier otome isekai/romantic fantasy like this. & Writing is just revenge/wish fulfillment slop. The ML/FL couple as adults is some fun, I’ll give them that — very OP (super rich, super powerful, super strong, etc.) & obsessive, codependent yanderish vibes. But that also means there’s no “stakes” in the story. Nothing particularly deep or intriguing about the story (the capitalistmaxxing stuff was such a snore), mainly just taking down the working-class villains that dare to disrespect aristocracy!

I was annoyed that everything came super easy for the FL. Nothing was actually challenging or consequential for her. You really have to be incredibly bored to read this; I personally tried to quit multiple times for aforementioned reasons & the unnecessary lengthy childhood depiction (40ish chapters maybe). It really does give u the ick.

But if you want fluff, if you have nothing else going on — maybe?

I'm sick of FL trying to change the story but so fixated with the OG FL. Like you made him like you and emotionally dependent on you, but you're just so sure the ML will fall for OG FL just because of the original novel. For god sake, you already changed the damn story!

She's basically selfish, self-centered jerk a**h*le. She likes ML, but just to prevent herself from feeling hurt by something that might not even happen, she's willing to hurt ML. I kept cursing her while reading. Like why did she lead him on for freaking 10 years? Just to feel superior? She ignores ML's feeling but then got super jealous when other girl approaches him? She even finds him cute in disgusting way when ML was trying hard to get her love. Poor Aiden he deserves much more. Why the F she's so fixated with the so called fate when she actively and intentionally changed the story? Even when she knew Aiden loves her and desires her, she just still keep on saying he will surely fall in love with OG FL on sight. She loves him and knows he loves her too so she should try to challenge fate and save her marriage first. What a dimwit.

Generally, this is a good story that doesn't do anything seriously wrong in terms of plot and characters. The first season felt short and to the point. It was straightforward, had a decent amount of tension, and healing. The MC was a bit frustrating since she was stubborn and hard-headed, but overall, season 1 ended in an interesting way.

I enjoy these emotional healing style stories and am looking forward to the next, spicy, and unpredictable season of this story.

I should've known better but as expected, this whole "I raise a child (that's nearly 20 years younger than me) as my son and then get in a relationship with him when he grows up" is just really not my thing lol.

In this case, I'm also not a fan of the art.

Cute and likeable characters. Good art and im liking the personality that's starting to emerge from the male lead. However only 10 ch out so i cant really make a good judgement yet. However, currently this is super cute and right up my ally. I'll update later though if this starts to go down hill.

Update~ it did seem to get unnecessarily convoluted at the end of the story and it dragged on at times but overall still a cute and okay ready
